A true marriage between a coffee shop and cocktail bar. They serve traditional café fare here, as well as signature flavored lattes, craft coffee drinks, and many cocktails with a coffee or tea twist. Every week, there's also a new special on the menu. They also allow guests to bring food, so you can cozy up with a drink and some bites and hang out late into the night (which we have done many times!)Vegetarian options: Almost all drinks are vegetarian, and vegan milk alternatives are available upon request.

Really great coffee and atmosphere! I was so impressed with my coffee and so was my husband! The staff was really friendly and made some suggestions! I got the cereal (Fruit Loops) milk latte with a little bit of vanilla and it was amazing! My husband got the Whiskey Smash latte and loved it! Will definitely be a frequent stop for us! 10/10 recommend going!

The atmosphere is cozy and the drinks are amazing. I Tried quite a few from the menu by now and I'm excited to try more. The cocktails are creative and tasty. The coffee drinks are also delicious and comforting. It's nice to have a place to sit down, relax and enjoy the libations and conversation especially when its not busy.

Amazing drinks!! The pastries are really good too. Several nights my friends and I came and the place had live music. Also, perfect study spot especially due to its late hours. Best part is how long the plays stays open, very practical!!

Cute smaller place in Ardmore offering incredible iced mocha lattes & many delicious beverage options. Unfortunately though on our previous 3 visits, no tables were available due to several people sitting there on their laptops with no obvious drink in sight. Because we love Char & Stave's, it's become very frustrating not being able to sit & enjoy a special drink there. Along with the popularity Char's has gained, I have to wonder if the manager is aware of business they're losing due to no seating. This is not a Starbucks... Judy C.

What an experience coming here, from the friendly staff to the warmth smell of coffee with the music! There’s so many selection of coffee to choose from, and I doubt you’ll have a hard time choosing with the help from the staff. You won’t be disappointed coming here.

What a great find! I've been a fan of the coffee/brewery trend, but this is the first coffee/whiskey place I've visited. Wish I could transport it back home!The Tall Man and I went on a weekday afternoon and discovered a quiet place with low conversation and not too many laptops. It had a bit of a speakeasy vibe with all the hardwood and metal accents. We had our little one with us, which seemed ok for daytime but it was a quieter, more elevated atmosphere than your typical cafe so I would probably leave the baby at home for happy hour and after.I was most intrigued by their specialty lattes and non-alcoholic coffee- or tea-based cocktails. Kudos to them for offering many choices for the dry crowd. I got the Dirty Little 5-Spice latte with almond milk, which was a fragrant twist on a more typical holiday spiced latte. It was rather expensive pre-vegan milk surcharge, but pretty special as well.The Tall Man got the Rittenhouse Manhattan, which he enjoyed. He also got a pour of their sugar cane rum, in case it might be similar to rhum agricole (sugar cane rum we've tasted in Guadeloupe), but it was more run of the mill so next time he would stick to a cocktail or a whiskey instead.Service was cool and casual in a good way. I would definitely return to experience their nighttime vibe and try a different latte or mocktail.
