It's always fun to impulse buy candy and snacks from here, along with their skincare and stationary. Their selection of products is pretty good as well. Really reliable if I need to purchase anything spices or sauces to make japanese food, this is the best place in the area. Their restaurant area has amazing food and they have some bakery items as well. The only place I can find melon bread around here! Although it's packaged and not fresh it's still very tasty.
I have to say first and foremost, even better than the food, is the friendly service. The woman at the front was so kind and patient with us while we ordered, so much good food it was hard to choose. I eventually chose the pork katsu and my goodness was it flavorful. The cutlet was the perfect form of crispy and juicy and the curry put it all together. I came here on a cold rainy day and had the coziest experience. The service was wonderful and they offer complimentary iced barley tea. I ordered the shrimp yakisoba and it was the perfect meal for that weather! I was so hungry I didn’t think to snap photos but maybe next time (because I shall return!).
