This place was fantastic! Super chill vibes, friendly staff, and amazing board game selection with someone there to help select a game specific to what you’re looking for. Aside from that, the menu offers both vegan and gluten free options, as well as a large selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to accommodate everyone’s needs/preferences. Will definitely be returning!

This place is a gem! I wish they had one closer to where I live. Come in with your friends, family, or both and enjoy delicious food, warm and attentive service, delicious cocktails, and a homey, warm, and comfortable area to hang out and play some of the tons of game options- they even have someone who can explain new ones to your group! The spot in Ardmore where this is located was adorable and walkable to a bunch of other cute places, so make a day of it! You won't regret it.

We meet here every month for games. The food and atmosphere is perfect! I don’t drink alcohol and they have very interesting NA options tooParking: There’s a very reasonable parking garage attached to the building.Kid-friendliness: I bring my 7, 13, and 15 year olds once or twice a month and they have a blast.

The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. The owner, Matt, was very friendly and engaging. ,the board game night I attended through Meetup, was a blast, filled with amazing people and a brilliant selection of games, including my favorite, the dice version of Bang! They have such a great variety.

Good concept. Service was really bad. Long delays. 1/2 hour until anyone came to our table. Another 1/2 hour until drinks arrived. Even longer for food. Manager was apologizing to all customers saying 3 people called out. However, no staff looked to be hustling. Almost like no one cared including the manager.

We had our company party at Twenty One Pips and had a great time! The wide variety of games was perfect because there was something for everyone on our team. The open space was perfect for our team to gather. The food was delicious, we loved the prosciutto-wrapped dates and the sliders! We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend anyone looking for a place to have a team outing or just get together with friends check this place out!

Board game restaurants/bars are such a wholesome and fun way to spend time with friends and family. I've been here twice now and both times it's been great vibes. I also like the this place is pretty huge so you don't really have to worry about not being able to find a seat. They have a large selection of board games that range in difficulty depending on how much time you want to spend figuring out the rules! But there is a game tender to help you out if you need it.Docked a star mainly for the restaurant side of this place. The service was slow, one of the drinks I got was so strong it was practically undrinkable, and my group and I tried to order pizzas but they were all out :( the food we did end up getting was good though! I look forward to coming back here!

Went there with some friends and had a great time! Drinks were great. Really loved the spice bag.

Food was slightly pricey and the portions aren't very big. The salted caramel beignets were very sad and tiny and just tasted like salt. Our waitress barely checked up on us until it was time for her to kick us out. We asked for a game attendant and only saw him twice. One of the games had a broken timer.Cute and fun concept, but definitely needs a bit of work.

A $7 charge per person just to play a board game is ludicrous. My family and I brought our own game to play (I assumed we were allowed to do this?) because we weren’t sure if they had the game we like, and they still tried to charge us $7 per person. And if you have 8+ people (we didn’t, but I saw this later on their website) they’ll add a 20% service fee. Their cocktails are also not very good, in my opinion. And, they happened to be out of both the wine and beer that my parents wanted. The only reasons why I’m giving them 3 stars is that the staff overall were very pleasant and polite, and the atmosphere was nice. Just be aware that you’ll be spending a lot to play used board games with subpar drinks.Edit: changing from 2 to 3 stars after considering the response from the owner. I still believe that a $7 per-person charge to play basic board games (and the "500+" claim is a stretch, there are a lot of duplicates and different versions of the same game) is not fair and isn't justified by the fact that other similar places apparently charge the same thing. I can go to a brewery or coffee shop that has free board games to play (albeit, much less in quantity and quality). A per-table charge or a game-specific rental fee would make more sense to me—20 minutes of Bananagrams shouldn't be the same as a 2-hour game of Monopoly. To put it in context, if a party of 8 wants to play a game while they eat it'll cost $67 (including the 20% surcharge) just to sit there and play the game, before drinks and food.
