“It's a very small place, the staff is always super friendly and the seating area always looks nice and clean. Plus if you want great food, amazing prices and the ability to have a small town restaurant experience this would be the place to go.Kid-friendliness: This place is located in a small town. Kids are always welcome. They even gave my kiddo some crayons to color with to keep her entertained while our food was cooking. Everyone there spoke to my kiddo and if you're wondering they do have highchairs/ booster seats for the smaller kids.Parking: Not sure on how many parking spots but it's a Big lot. This is a place with multiple businesses though.“

“In the mid 70s i worked my high school years at sweetlane.what a fun place.Jackie Basile and i were friends since 1st grade and drove her father crazy when we worked together. Poppy showed me how to make chocolate covered cherries.Selling penny candy when it was really a penny is a great memory and the thursday and friday nite crowd that came in for french fries and fountain drinks.And there was good music on ths jukebox,5 songs for a guarter. Keep up the legacy of Sweetlane, the Basile family, and many memories for those who have had the pleasure to be apart of Sweetlane. “Went there this morning with my FIL, we each got 2 eggs hash browns sausage and toast. My FIL also got a piece of cake to go. The bill came to $26, same thing at Kings sans the cake comes to $22., so same pricing. The food was great and quite a lot. We had a young girl as our waitress, greeted us as soon as we walked in, checked on us throughout our meal, never had to ask for anything. We will definitely be back.“

“I’ve lived in the area my whole life & the pub has always been a staple. It’s always been affordable for families & the food was ok. Recently I’ve ate there & I really must say they have stepped up their food game & it’s impressive. I’m very picky when it comes to spending money on dining out. I’ve followed them & their struggles to persevere through roadblocks of the very old building & I have to say that is equally impressive. I can imagine running a business is hard enough without battling an old building. I feel as long as they continue to push through ironing out the repairs while keeping up the quality of their food as well as a welcoming vibe they will be very successful for many years & I hope I’m right.
