Murray's has been Hymie's poor stepchild for the past 40 years. Prior to that time it had different owners and put out a product that was competitive with Hymies, which in those days was not much bigger in size than Murray's is now. They've survived on Hymie's overflow since Only way I would go there for a CB sandwich is if Hymie's were closed and I was desperate. The vibe in there is almost hostile if they don't know you. Avoid.

Too bad 0 Stars is not an option!!!Sure, Murray's is great... IF you are a fan of the rudest customer service and management that refuses to speak to you about it, as well as over-priced, mediocre food that's offered on an inflexible menu just so they can charge more for changes. Not to mention an unfriendly environment in general.This place obviously has a massive chip on its shoulders due to vibrant business drained by nearby deli-completitors Hymies, that has has thrilled generations of local families.In case you want proof - I stopped in just for coffee as I awaited a close-by car fix. The acid waitress brought me cold, overpriced over-strong coffee she was not happy about reheating. Instead she brought a message that the regular crowd from temporarily closed Hymies was expected in the then empty restaurant at lunchtime (3 hours later!), so I was not welcome to stay for long unless I consumed... Other customers (clearly Hymies loyals) were not happy when they asked to logically add bacon to eggs or change the toast off-menu) without a major price change. The dishes that arrived seemed sad too...Go ahead and try if you don't believe me, but I won't be going back ~ EVER!!!

More a 3.5 honestly. It's worth it as an alternative to everything else that's more expensive or harder to get a seat for. Nothing was bad but nothing was great. It worked and you'd expect this at late night places in the US.

Never again, which is very sad because I used to love Murray's. I don't know who died or handed over the keys to this establishment, but it is just awful now. We went in for dinner, the waiter seemed as though it was only working his 2nd shift of employment anywhere. Forgivable, but the order was botched about 4 times over, still, I could give the kid a break... Then the food came. Awful. From the awful $20 chicken platter to the dishwater matzo ball soup. Don't waste you

The servers and owner are extremely rude and nasty. The food is not very good, but is quite expensive. The restaurant always looks filthy. I would have given zero stars if allowed.

Bought 1/2 lb of pastrami and when opened at home it was 1/2 lb of chopped FAT, and much burnt of what I don't know, returned and was told twice by the pit bull of a man that I could take my business elsewhere. I responded That I would do just that. Left without knowing if the cashier credited my card and after the nasty treatment I don't care. Murray's has no idea how much Hymie's benefits from their treatment of patrons.one waits in line to be seated at Hymie's and Murray's has an empty restaurant.

We got the hot pastrami on a Kaiser roll, a bowl of matzo ball soup, latkes, and apple cake and OMG EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD! Service was great, atmosphere is adorable, and parking was easy (we parked in a public lot and walked a few minutes.)

Awful service ~ high prices for poor to mediocre food. The waitress \ maybe owner is just abrasive,& unfriendly. It used to be a real deli ~ whoever the owner is not keeping the tradition nor the quality that Murray’s once had… avoid this place ~ Hymie’s was closed going to Murray’s was a mistake & a waste of money.6.49 for a bagel with butter10.49 for pancakes ~ which were burnt & tasteless.

It was a last minute decision to go inside to have a quick lunch. My first time there, warm friendly staff & clean including the bathroom. Food was delicious & I plan on returning again to try something different. I saw the owner at a distance, working, he seems to be a soft spoken man when I asked a question.
