Very sad. Bad service and bad food. Owners redid a great building, but picked the wrong group to run the Creekside. Have been there over 4 times and always the same. The building rates a higher end restaurant, not glorified bar food. I'll stick with Kelly's, Gigi's and The Ale House in State College.

The chef is very rude and food was subpar. Wouldn’t recommend. It’s a shame the Gamble Mill has such a beautiful place with a subpar restaurant.

Great location, historic . Food was delicious, menu options good but not overwhelming. Great service. Perfect for casual to special occasions! You will be glad for this dining experience in Bellefonte!

This place has a fantastic chef and staff, and is in what used to be a old mill. The beer dinners pair local PA brewing companies with a four course meal.

Sat at the bar. Place was maybe half full. Waited 15 minutes for a drink- which wouldn't have been bad if someone had just looked at us and said "we'll be right with you". Asked for the lunch special and another drink- which never came. The sandwich was miniscule and had been thrown together so that you couldn't pick it up. Its always upsetting when a bartender acts like he's doing you a favor by waiting on you. The bar downstairs, the Republic, is MUCH friendlier. And the bartenders smile!

Really interesting place with some unique menu items. Service has always been outstanding. And I love the rich history of the building itself. Just a really neat place to go and enjoy an evening.

The food was excellent. We got the Mexican nachos, coconut shrimp, po boi, Caesar salad and the chicken tacos, and they all tasted great. The drinks weren’t very good and our server could’ve been more attentive but overall the atmosphere, the seating, and food were excellent!

The food at Creekside at Gamble Mill is of high quality, and prepared well.I highly recommend their brunch, a selection for every taste. The Salmon Eggs Benedict is the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection, on bakery fresh English Muffins. I would have preferred wild caught salmon, but that is tough to find when eating out. The roasted potatoes are fabulous, browned exquisitely without being seasoned to excess. The coffee is strong but they serve it with a generous container of cream. Bruce started with a Bloody Mary that was pretty standard, but the glass was rimmed with a delightful chili or paprika spice mix. He LOVED his Huevos Rancheros. The portion sizes are generous, the venue is relaxed and comfortable, bonus for the cool blues playing in the background. The staff are very polite and professional here. If you're looking for a good Brunch, outside of State College,I would recommend this place.Parking: Across the street and same side lot a bit beyond the building.Kid-friendliness: Child size seating available.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there is a separate entrance for wheelchair accessibility.

We stopped here on our first night in town - liked the locale, being in an historic building. When we got there, it took us a few minutes to figure out where the restaurant actually WAS - there was an event going on in another venue & I finally asked one of the people milling about in the atrium. Upon finding our way upstairs to the entrance we were seated immediately - we chose the outside patio & were the only ones outside. Our server took our drink order... however it took a while for her to return... long enough for us to wonder if we were forgotten. We were there long enough to realize it was a little too windy, so when she returned to take our food order, we asked to be moved inside. Inside was nice but it was awfully dark.On to the food - I ordered the Local Beef Tenderloin & my Girlfriend ordered the Mole Verde Duck. Again it took awhile - I believe there were staffing issues during out visit, although everyone was pleasant. The food, when it arrived was excellent although portion sizes seemed a little small for the $36 price tag for each entree. Plating was nice.We visited on a weekday evening & it was not overly busy - they may have just not been on their game that night. We did enjoy the food...
