“I'm never going back to Hello Bistro(right across the street) ever again. Roots Natural Kitchen is everything you want in a healthy food spot. It's healthier than the other healthy places, it's WAY tastier than the other healthy food places, and it's way fresher(also with more variety) than the other healthy food spots in the city. I guess the only thing you could say about this place *negatively* is that instead of paying $12 for most entrees, it's closer to $13-14 here.Listen to me, pay that extra dollar or two. You are going to thank yourself after that perfect, balanced meal. Thank you, Roots! You all just won yourselves a new almost daily customer. ?Staff is way better than 95% of places in the price range too. Enjoy!“

“Great modern, healthy, restaurant. I loved all the gluten free options and enjoyed the Greek warm bowl with salmon. I also had the kale and apple smoothie, it tasted like it sounds. There wasn’t a lot of sugar or additives to hide the flavor. I still enjoyed the smoothie but it’s not for everyone, it definitely grossed out my husband and toddlers. This may cost a bit more than some similar restaurants but I think it’s worth it for good quality, well made, Whole Foods- which they did an excellent job of providing.Dietary restrictions: They specify on the menu what is gluten free and have lots of good options.Kid-friendliness: I took my toddlers, they were comfortable there. Lots of room for the wagon. Men’s bathroom didn’t have a changing table.“

“One of my common eat out places in Pittsburgh. It’s healthy, quick, cost effective, and tasty. $13 for a bowl that easily comes out to be 2 servings. Come in and make a bowl super quick, no line. Ingredients feel fresh. I eat Roots once a month or so and really like “

“We were really impressed with our lunch at SoFresh. Serving grass fed & wild caught at a fast casual restaurant is huge and it's at a great price point too. We got the asian fusion wrap w gulf shrimp, Cali bowl with grass-fed beef, and the buffalo chicken quesadilla and all were solid. Taylor got a banana-date smoothie and I got a cold pressed juice. Great location in the heart of Shadyside/Sliberty. Will definitely be back.“

“Food was amazing. The person working the counter and who made our food was super friendly and helpful. Loved everything about this place with the exception of location and prices. Being that it's downtown parking and walking here isn't necessarily easy or enjoyable. For two people to each get an entree and one drink it was over $36.“

“fun hole in the wall in bellevue. i recently stopped by here for a drink while exploring bellevue. the staff was very friendly and happy to explain the menu options. we chose a seasonal drink + the popular blue tea. my 'salted carmel cookie' smoothie was meh, okay. it had a very oily taste to it and was hard to finish. i was told it was healthy, but i'm not sure how lol. we also got the blue tea which was incredibly flavorful (think of a melted blue slush puppy). it was really good, but very concentrated. i could also feel ulcers forming. by adding more ice to it made it less acidic and more mellow to drink. i would get this again, knowing i need to water it down a little.“
