This family is AWESOME and their bagels are even better! I saw someone posted they are rude. They ARE NOT rude, they’re from NY and they are a busy place (and rightfully so). Bagels are huge and a bargain!Stop complaining! They’re GREAT!

Great bagels, ignorant staff. Placed an order, they tell me 15 minutes. I show up in 17 minutes and the rude dirty looking guy says I told you 20 minutes. Okay even if it was 20 minutes that he said, what's the big deal being 3 minutes early? Maybe shave your dirty beard or wear a beard guard.

Delicious, locally owned bagel shop in Bensalem great service and even better friendly bake bagels.I have tried almost every single bagel, and they are all good. I love their variety of cream cheese, it’s so good. The bagel are big compared to other bagel shops. There is plenty of place to sit, if you want to dine in. I’ll be back!

This place looks like it is going under. Went in to get a bagel toasted with nothing on it I was trying to be nice because I got sick from the cream cheese but the bagel was good so I went back. I got yelled at by both staff even after I was willing to pay for the cream cheese when I didn't even want it and I was yelled at. Very unprofessional. But the place doesn't look great so I shouldn't have expected much

I don’t get it. Not everyone goes toA & S. They only have the best bagels around. To each their own. Just more for us.

My whole family and I order from here about once a week (sometimes even twice) and have been coming here for years. I truly do love the family and the food is always done quick, I would recommend this place to anyone!

Bagels are good, the help, is a different story. I wanted a bagel toasted no butter. I was told unless I get butter, they can't toast it. I was okay with that, so I said to toast the bagel and put the butter on the side. I was told that would be stupid, why would anyone want to do that. I stated that is the way I want it. They said it would cost more which I said fine I will pay the higher price. Again, I was told that it's stupid to do that. I gave up... They just lost a few families that stop there almost daily.

Their bagels are light and tasty! They aren't heavy and dense like others tend to be.

I was in the mood for some bagels and wanted to try a new place. Today was A&S Bagel. A&S Bagel is in a nondescript strip mall in Bensalem. As soon as I walked in a bit after 10am, I almost considered walking right out. The bad smell of something burning coming from the grill or something else bad was right in my face. But I soldiered on and went to the counter. The bagels were in a glass case where you order. There were two people in charge; the man at the grill, woman at the everything else. May be a family? Anyway, the woman was not very customer friendly but did say hello. They were out of many of the choices of bagels but did have over two full bins of plain. I asked for a dozen and took the leftover marble, one egg, couple of wheat, and a bunch of plain. I needed one more. I didn't want the onion, sesame, or everything bagels left, so I asked for another plain. Then I got "yelled" at by being told that you cannot have more than a 1/2 dozen of one type of bagel unless you pre-order them the day before! I've never heard of this. So what if I want a dozen plain? Too bad unless I called it in yesterday. After questioning and I guess just taking too long, the lady finally just gave me the seventh plain bagel. Even the customer behind me gave me the "can you believe this" look feeling bad for me getting the business from the staff.Just over $12 for the dozen bagels, and I was on my way out. When I got home, I made myself an egg, chicken, bacon, and cheese bagel. The bagel itself was nice and fluffy with a good bagel consistency. They weren't bad at all.I'm not sure I'd come back. Two stars for service and cleanliness of the place, three stars for the taste of the bagels. I didn't get any of the sandwiches on the menu, but everything seemed reasonably priced. I have to round down for A&S Bagels.
