Pizza is next level. Their style is unlike most mom and pop shops. 0 greese. The crust, cheese and sauce are all perfect. Cooked great. 10/10 recommend.

This is officially the best pizza. I have another pizza spot I love but don't live near anymore, and I been trying to find a comparable place....and I finally found it here! I am very picky with pizza....I like it thin and more sauce than cheese and this is what it was. I hate the over doughy, over cheesey, pizzas. This pizza is AMAZING! Our new pizza spot.

Order a pizza half plain and half sweet peppers. The dough was flat still had flour that wasn’t mixed right tasted gritty, no cheese and the sauce was bitter. Had 4 children to feed that all said the didn’t like it and my self.

Charlie's Pizza has THE BEST pizza! The tomatoes/sauce is amazing!!
I am a temporary resident of Bensalem, but I came here with a friend who had eaten at the original Roosevelt Blvd location for a quarter century and recommended it. This location is next to a charming coffee shop called Potheads. The location was clean and comfortable, and there was a nice number of open tables. As it was late afternoon (3pm?) the restaurant was fairly quiet. We ordered an onions and peppers pie. The crust was thin and crisp, the sauce was fresh and flavorful, and there was a perfect amount of cheese. It is served "Tomato Pie style" with sauce over the main layer of cheese. The ingredients were very good, the balance was perfect, and the pizza was cooked perfectly. This is an addictive pizza. I came in thinking I would eat two slices and leave two for later--that didn't happen. I had all four slices in my half of the pie, and I didn't regret one bite. My friend was brought back to the best moments of his Roosevelt Blvd memories of Charlie's. This is a great pizza. Many years ago, when I was living near Haddonfield, NJ I wrote a rave review about Angelo's, which at the time had not yet moved to Philly and become the great and famous place people now know it to be. I said at the time, Angelo's was making great pie, and only Pizza Beddia was likely to be better. People thought the review was crazy at the time, over the top. A year later, no one thought I was crazy, and Angelo's became perhaps the city's most popular pizza. Today I am saying this---The Original Charlie's, if they keep up the good work consistently in the Bensalem location, will be recognized as one of the top five pizzerias in the Philly metro area. Can they be consistent? That is the question. The reviews so far have been mixed. Perhaps I was here on a "good day." But most pizza places-- on their best day--can never deliver a pizza like this. It's delightful, and has its own unique style. Get here and get a pie now, before Mt Portnoy shows up, and there is the inevitable line out the door every day. I'm no easier than Dave is at grading. This is an 8.7. If you are nearby getting pizza and it isn't this pizza, you are probably making a mistake.

This is my far one of the absolute most amazing pizza experiences you will ever have! Everyone that I have told to go here has thanked me profusely. Every Saturday night my dad got us Charlie’s from the Blvd It Will always rank as one of my favorite things. Bensalem has captured the same wonderful recipe.It’s lovely that it is also one of the healthier pizzas. The moment you walk in you will fall in love with the aroma.Do yourself a favor and try Charlie’s. The only issue my friends I referred have is that they constantly crave it now!!!Thank you for this wonderful receipe!

I went there with high expectations having had Bella Maria’s many, many times and enjoyed it always. Not at all what I expected!!!! It tasted like it was 3 days old and reheated.Never again!!! I will let everyone know my opinion and if they choose to try it will see what they think.

Unfortunately for me, this will never have the same appeal as the original on the Blvd. The food is fantastic but I spent my childhood growing up, taking girls on dates to the original so for me the atmosphere will never be the same but their recipe is still the best.
