Went to Honest last night to celebrate a friend's birthday. I ordered the Honest Special Bhaji Pav. The pav bhaji was mild in flavor and prepared wrong. I'm every bite, I had to bite down on chunks of bell pepper, potato, and cauliflower. It was not properly mashed. Compared to other locations, this one was less buttery. Would not recommend going here.

Food is good but service is very bad. We came for lunch and ordered typical quick food. Took 45 mins to get Samosa chat

First off, how could an Indian restaurant not have any of the food in the section titled "South Indian food"??? We asked for non-spicy food, and the waitress promised non spicy, and then gave us the spiciest stuffed naan. It was gross. When we informed her of the spice level, she smiled at us. It felt deceitful. Will not return.

Went with family, seven of us in total. Service was beyond horrible. We ordered four apps. They did not come out together. Came out one app at a time like every 10 minutes which was really weird. Same thing happened with dinner. They brought out like one persons entree at a time like every 10 minutes. So not everyone was able to eat together cause if you waited for everyone's entree to come out everybody elses food would be cold. They barely checked on us during the meal to see if we wanted any more drinks (soda) or water. Woman who waited on us was not friendly or personable at all (on a scale of 1-10, I would give her attitude a zero). Will never go back to that place and will never recommend it. And food quality was nothing like it used to be.

I loved all their food specially their chaats! They have so many options to choose from and I left the restaurant with a smile. Thank you Honest!!

This place sounds so amazing on the menu-- a one stop shop for all your Indian food cravings, a place where everyone can find something. In reality, it's okay. Not bad, but not amazing either. The service was fast for some items and slow for others. We were a group of 8 so we were understanding about some of the wait. They also currently are not doing any South Indian food, which they told us in advance. This was not a big deal since there are other items on the menu. But the food quality was the main disappointment. The pav bhaji was a bit oily and not smooth (had some peels or something hard in it). The Pani puri and papri chaat was the best. The spinach paneer was not bad. The biryani was oily and unexciting. We wanted chai but they didn't have it. We also asked for soup off the menu and they said they were out of that too. We asked for hot water and the server told us they were too busy to get it for us. Overall, it's s good place if you need a basic all-vegetarian Indian restaurant. Apart from that, I wouldn't go back.

Came here on a Saturday for lunch and it wasn't packed at all but I heard it can get very busy for dinner. The manchow soup and hot and sour soup were average. Both soups were similar in taste, but manchow soup had more of a ginger taste. I was particularly excited for the bhakri pizza with freshly shredded amul cheese. Overall, it was satisfying but did not compare to the pizza in India. The crust was crispy but dry. We also got the pav bhaji which was the only item I would recommend to others or get again if I came back. Don't even bother with the South Indian food items - mysore masala dosa and idli sambhar were so bad. Dosa was soggy and too spicy, idli was dry, and chutneys were terrible. For drinks, we tried masala soda and masala chai which were both bad. Service was terrible. We had to get up several times and walk over to the counter to put in our orders or ask for refills on water. Overall, food was sub par and will probably not ever come back here.

We bought three entrees and if I were to blindfold myself and taste the entrees, there is no way I could tell a difference between them. All three of them tasted exactly the same. Not going back here

Had been told that the food was great however ambiance not so much. Was disappointed with food... we had pav bhaji which was OK, and some had Indian Chinese - which did not taste like Indian Chinese at all. Service is in paper and plastic plates, which is fine if the food was delicious. If food is not 5star, need to create appetite via presentation which was not there! Much better options around in my opinion. Won't be going back.

Very bad food, we ordered food for Mother's day, we had nargisi kofta, dal makhani, and paneer butter masala, i never had such a garbage food in my life, the food was horrible with no taste, my mother's day was destroyed and my mood was off because of it , the garlic naan was hard to break and also not fresh, i could not eat one bite, we also had hakka noodles, my 3 year old kid even didn't like it, kotfa was frozen and just added some kind of garbage curry with, such a waste of time and money, we had to eat leftovers from yesterday, go to this restaurant if you like wasting money...this place should shut down...

I had very bad experience at their Maryland location. First of all they had very poor management, we ordered food for carry out and their wait time was one hour. Even after hour food was not read. Finally after hour and half I got my food came home and opened bag one order was missing. I called them they wouldn't trust me. After explaining they said they would refund money but did not even apologized. Food i received was not enough quantity for even one person. Not worth to spend and waste money.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Server was rude when we asked for crispy bread for our pau Bhaji. He yelled at my mother very unprofessionally when she asked for him to remake it. Definetly not how you treat customers ,especially women. The Edison location is way better anyways.

I am sorry to leave a negative review, but the food was awfully bad. I ordered the veg fried rice and dry gobhi manchurian. I genuinely wanted to try the food and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the gobhi manchurian had a really bad after taste and was not crispy at all. The rice was okay, but dear restaurants, do understand I want to help and do my best, but please give me at least some decent taste during this time. And don't compromise on the food quality. This was a very very bad experience.

A good place to have yummy and authentic Pav Bhaji. I highly recommend eating the Bhaji Pav which is actually their specialty.
