Had a tasty breakfast here. The mushroom and cheese omelette was delicious and the side of ham was hearty! The potatoes were crispy! Less enthused about the add on onions and peppers but mainly because they were in huge pieces. Service was attentive and it's nice and clean and cute inside.

Thanks to Lisa- our meal and service for breakfast was 5 stars! She greeted us with a smile and was an extremely good waitress! Couldn't have wanted anything more. Good food, good service! This place is worth dropping in!

Great food and customer service. The price was very reasonable. I cannot wait to go again and try more dishes.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and ramp to get in. We had no problem getting in or with seating with the wheelchair.

Such a disappointing meal, where I’ve previously been very happy with the food. Meatloaf looked, tasted, and smelled old. Mashed potatoes were a super lumpy slop mess. Hot roast beef sandwich was served minus the bread. Roast beef was super tough, topped with most certainly jarred “gravy.” Took wings to go, which were completely overdone, chewy, and dry. I won’t be returning.

We went for breakfast it was really good. Hash browns were amazing! Omelettes were very tasty too. Was surprised to see a cash discount, meaning there was a credit card convenience

These folks were very busy recently on a Sunday morning and we were told it'd be a 15 minute wait. We offered to sit outside on the deck because we had our dog who would then be able to join us. It was a win win situation.

Wonderful, cozy place to go to. I went on a date and was able to hang out at our table for around 3 hours and continued to enjoy a few cups of coffee.

The OFS has been a staple restaurant in the sleepy little town of Benton for many years and has consistently been providing the area with top-notch food and service. The new owners are bringing new life to the restaurant and adding more delicious food to the already amazing menu.

Very nice breakfast and staff! Seating is located in a converted period Victorian. Coffee could use an upgrade (to get 5 stars). There is a nice looking coffee shop called the Woodshelf Cafe 100yds up the street that looks promising but they are closed Sunday so we were not able to check out the quality. I'm thinking a woodshelf coffee and OFS breakfast may be perfect together! Do recommend...

We have been going to The Old Filling Station for a quite a few years. We go about a half dozen times a year. We used to get the AYCE Fish, which was excellent, but then they did away with that. Then we started getting the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich, which was excellent. The beef was so tender and it came shredded. Now, the beef isn't as tender and they don't shred it anymore. It comes in big slices piled on top of the bread with very little gravy, at least that's the way ours came. I have a feeling it's not even the same cut of beef. The taste is very good. But, we didn't think it was as good as it was before. It's a nice little restaurant. The waitress was very nice and checked on us several times. We plan on continuing to go several times a year as we have been doing. It's a great place to eat.

I ordered the BLT, it was very good but took a while to come out. When my order came out it was mixed between my brothers, mine had no mayo and chips and my brothers had mayo and sweet potato fries (my brother is allergic to eggs). The Raspberry tea was very good, the bacon was good aswell, I tried some of the chips and they were ehh. The service was bad but could be worse. The chairs are horrible, the bottom was too tight and was not cushioned, I was very relieved to stand up. Overall a 4/5 would come again.Parking: The parking situation is horrible not including the people who can’t park if their life depended on them. The parking space is super small and I get it, its in the middle of a town so there isn’t much room but still I would rather park a mile away and walk to the restaurant.

Good value, large serving sizes and quite low prices! Homey atmosphere, though a bit basic and harsh lighting at spots.
