We love Veekoo and always get takeout, generally chicken dishes. In the past year or two, we have noticed that there has been less and less chicken in the smaller and smaller meals. Prices have increased accordingly. Yesterday, it was really bad. The entree meals really lacking. It was surprising and disappointing.

Everything about this place is wonderful. The service was amazing with the waiter, Logan, being an absolute delight. He was very considerate and cordial and at the end wrapped our leftovers for us.We had steamed chicken dumplings, char siu, and crab rangoon as our appetizers. The chicken dumplings had a light delicate taste and I could tell they were recently prepared. The char siu was flavorful and ample in portion, for just $10 it was shocking to get what amounted to a small entree. The crab rangoon was perfectly crispy and nice and gooey. For our entrees we had the shrimp lettuce wrap and chicken chow fun. It was lots of fun eating the wrap and crunchy and flavorful. The chow fun noodles were well made with a nice bounce to them and saucing was done well. The atmosphere was on the modern end with an emphasis on a wood/natural tone.I 100% would come here again and plan to in the coming weeks.Vegetarian options: The menu has a serviceable vegetarian section and you can always order a dish without meat.

Try the hot and sour soup as well as shrimp. Hunan whichas eight large shrimp. I prefer the restaurant VeeKoo in Royersford and Bryn Mawr only because of the ambience.

All was good except the very noticeable shrinkage in portion size of Mooshu pork, so not nearly the value that it was in the past, but probably a reasonable response to inflation to keep prices reasonable.

Tried this place tonight for the first time (take out). To be honest this was some of the worst Chinese/sushi food i have ever had. Started off with the steamed chicken dumplings. These things literally had 0 flavor to the point where I just stopped eating them so as to not waste calories. Next I tried the sushi (sweet potato roll and shrimp tempura roll). Basically again just ate one of each because they smelled fishy and the rice was hard (not moist like it should be with a fresh sushi roll). Next thing on the menu was "general tsos chicken" The sauce tasted like watered down ketchup and there was entirely too much breading over the chicken which as anyone who knows the chinese game can attest is a sign of a bad restaurant. Again one of the worst general tsos i think ive ever had. Really I ended up throwing away 3/4 of what I ordered because it was just that inedible. How this place received 4.5 stars I have no idea.

Veekoo is the best! I have not been in a while and while I've always loved it, they have really upped their game. The prices are higher (but so is everywhere else), but the portions are generous and the food is delicious. The presentation of the. Mandarin Fancy (filet mignon cubes, scallops, broccoli) was amazing, as was the Shiitake mushroom stirfry with shrimp. Our server was Sally and she was terrific. It's a BYOB, so that makes it even better. The only negative is that it is VERY noisy, especially if there are large groups because it's a small restaurant. We feel very lucky that this is our "local"!

Our dinners were delicious but the noise level there because of two large groups made for a very noisy meal. We were not the only table uncomfortable because of this. We left soon after dinner as we were unable to have a conversation with our friends.

Went out for the first time and had a few appetizers and Sushi to start. Highly recommend the homemade pork dumplings and the sushi was very fresh. Had the Tangerine triple delight, the new shoe pork and the shrimp pad thai to share for the table and all three were amazing. The service was also outstanding.

We eat here regularly! Great, reasonable BYOB, and if you have a few sushi/ sashimi lovers in your group, I highly recommend "The Loveboat!" Our friends usually go with a Chinese dish here (big Mu Shu pork fans, but they have all the standards ) The Chilean Sea Bass dish is moist, mouthwatering, with a savory ginger scallion sauce. These days I remain enthralled with one of their nightly special rolls from the sushi bar if I can't talk a table mate into sharing a Loveboat!

Popped in for a visit for the first time in quite a while and pleased to see the Veekoo team still crushing it. We started with some sushi pieces (2 pieces per order - always preferred) - maguro, yellowtail, red snapper, sake (smoked salmon) and one roll - a tuna scallion roll. Only the scallion roll disappointed (some lesser grade bits of chopped up tuna in this roll). We split an order of customized pad thai (witch scallops and no peanuts) - and it was decadent. Our server Logan was polite and professional.
