Amazing time! delicious wine and food and a beautiful setting. 3 stars because they use a truly appalling amount of single use plastic, plastic cups, silverware, even in the charcuterie board. And they can’t be recycled unless they are washed out, which they are not. Just switch to glass or cardboard cups and metal silverware please!

Kris and her team are phenomenal to work with. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Black River Farms and I was so pleased with how things went. Kris was so communicative and there every step of the way. Their wine is excellent (my favorite in the valley) and I was excited to have my guests experience their wine as well. I also have to shout out Feast in the Valley for catering as their food was also fantastic. I absolutely will be using both Black River Farms and Feast in the Valley for all my event and catering needs in the future.

Great food and fabulous service with a smile. The wine, bourbon and the slushies are must haves and the presentation was beautiful. Great job.

Nice setting - no doubt ...... and yes there is a "food truck", however it's pretty much the same food truck every weekend. If your not a fan of the food (which we weren't), we personally found everything to be far too greasy for us, your out of luck, or should eat ahead of time. Music was music, by a small ensemble, and that's left up to personal taste. I doubt the ensemble that played is a major reason people come there, but it certainly isn't a deterrent either ..... again, personal choice, and they did have a few renditions that were nice. Now for the beverages ..... Lot's of sugars !!!!!!! lot's of various offerings as well, but ...... lot's of sugars !!!!!!!! and here's the beware part ...The offerings for sale (of which there are many) are somewhat competitive in price (a bottle of flavored vodka for $21.99 for example) until you find out that your only getting a 375ml bottle not the regular 750ml bottle sold in state stores. That means your getting LESS THAN HALF for substantially more than you'll pay elsewhere. Oh yeah, you might not find that out until you get home because they certainly seem to try and hide that fact, as they deliver your purchase to your table in a very nice cloth tote, showing simply the "tops" of your purchases ........ How do you spell ...........bamboozeled (bam-booze-old)

The wines are pretty good, but the space and the exceedingly charming staff put this place over the top. Great place in the Valley to chill and spend some time out in the sun. Check their website for a listing of live music and food truck visits.

The food was done by Buzzwell Catering that day, which was excellent. The service from the food business and from the wine business were great; very attentive! I love the vibe at this winery. I go back every couple months.
