“Very cozy coffee shop on the South Side. Plenty of seating and sofas to comfortably lounge and drink coffee. They have some games, books and magazines you can use as well. The staff are so friendly and nice and the coffee they make is amazing, way better than Starbucks.“
“Such a great place to eat breakfast/lunch while working from home/taking a break from work! I went for breakfast today and got the lumber jack. It was delicious and a good price. I stayed after eating to work a bit on my laptop and the wifi was really fast. There is also really nice art to look at and/or purchase. It feels like home. The menu was largely compromised of breakfast type items like crepes, egg sandwiches and omelettes but they offered other things as well. I really liked the kitchen layout, which was visible from the main dining room separated by a stone island. “We went at 7AM on a Sunday for breakfast, and got to choose our seats. Apparently they open at 5:30AM everyday but the place was mostly empty when we arrived. The coffee only comes with the specials it seems but they did have a good variety for a cafe menu.Coffee and food were great, and didn't take too long to come out. Our drinks were refilled, and boxes given for take home what we couldn't eat from their large portions.“

I can not, seriously, CAN NOT recommend the French Toast bagel more. It truly makes a full-fledged breakfast sandwich come to life. Everything else on my sandwich was cooked to perfection: soft, fluffy eggs, perfectly melted cheese, crispy - NOT floppy - bacon ... and their cream cheeses? Always winners in my book. I got a tub of garlic and herb to go. However, I would LOVE for them to bring back their peanut butter cream cheese. That was my top favorite!!My only concern was that I felt very in the way when trying to place an order, as there were tons of people inside. However, that blame doesn't go on them. They were closed for over a week, and I went in the day after reopening. Staff did everything they could to get everything as it needed to be, and they delivered. The workers were nice, and the other people (mostly college students) were considerate. The space was open and comfortable.
