My wife and I truly enjoy the Barn...typically visiting for brunch and their live musical acts about once every 6 weeks. And although no music this time, we again enjoyed the dining, ambiance and service. Ethan, our server, was attentive without being too attentive, and took our drink orders and food orders with a friendly smile. My wife tried the vegetable quiche and was very happy. I did my usual, the Eggs Benedict... but being vegetarian, the kitchen accommodated me by swapping in mushrooms and spinach for the normal Canadian bacon. And once again, did a delicious and wonderful job. It was delicious. So an excellent experience, and highly suggested!

We were seated and comfortable, enjoying some time to talk and enjoy each others company. Just before our meals were delivered a part of 18 people was seated near us and proceeded to shout across the table incessantly. Several folks who were seated near us walked out due to their behavior. We left before ordering more drinks as planned because we couldn't even hold a conversation due to the shouting and yelling of this party of 18. We go to Allenberry all the time and had reservations for months. Management should have told this group to stop yelling after the first few couples left due to the noise yet they allowed it to continue. Very disappointed in how management failed to handle this group.

The ambiance and welcoming feel never wears off here! We live close, but feel fortunate to dine here. The food is MUCH improved from the early days, and the service is fantastic. Views are stunning and the place has an overall good vibe.

Fantastic dinner! Started with Truffle Fries, Brussel Sprouts, and Deviled Eggs. All were great, and the eggs were particularly amazing. Our dinners were timely and excellent. Of course,we had to finish with some sticky buns (yum!). Sarah was incredible and provided extraordinary service!!

The food was excellent especially the lamb and crab cakes. Service could of been better. The main course came out before we were finished with our appetizers and dishes were not cleared before dinner was served. I had to constantly try to get the attention of our server. She seemed focused on one particular table.

Got the quiche for lunch. So small we were flabbergasted! Not happy. Recently family member went for dinner and crab cakes were not good. Not planning any future visits. Service was ok.

Our server Thora was wonderful. She deserves a raise. The food was excellent. There was a lot of crab on the menu I just wish you had a shrimp meal to choose from. Preferably not fried shrimp but baked or seared.

Our meal was amazing! The Valentine's Day menu had lots of options for each course. We ordered an appetizer, main course and dessert. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

We had an enjoyable evening. My husband and our one friend had the oysters, and they said there was no taste to them . . . not sweet nor briny just chewy with no flavor! I've had the margarita several times, and I think they need to be better; they are too sour! I think they have to have a sweet/sour blend (before Cinco de Mayo)!! ? Always love the ambiance and decorations!! Thora was a kind and efficient waitress!!!

Food was great. Portions were weak for the price. Drinks were way overpriced for what they were. The place is beautiful but the set up is strange. The first time we were impressed, not so much a year later...

The server was pleasant and the restaurant is nice however our entrees were horrible. The saving grace was the lobster bisque appetizer. My duck was incredibly dry, chewy, and bland. And my partners steak was charred so badly the only thing you could taste was charcoal. The asparagus was bitter and the cheddar grits tasted like nothing.

A ten minute wait after being seated before being served water by our waiter, who was apologetic, afterwards the service was fine. Food came quickly, properly prepared, and was good, not great.

Was the most disappointing reservation I've ever made. There is not a lot in this area to begin with for fine dining and I had high hopes. Not so much. The food was absolutely terrible and probably the worst I've had in quite some time. Brussel sprouts were partially done, most of them hard as a rock. The French fries needed another few minutes in the fryer. Our entrees were laughable, the risotto was cold and still crunchy on both of our plates. The duck was absolutely disgusting in every way and my pork was not cooked to temp and also cold. Yet we still managed to walk away from there spending 90$ on nothing. A waste of time and money and after we left I read the reviews and wished I had read them before.

The server was nice to us, but she didn't seem like she or anyone was happy working there. The Brussel sprouts were very good. The Tuna poke was not great. I asked for it rare and it came out cool, but grey. So not seemingly very fresh. The purple rice in my dish and my Girlfriend's roots and Kyle “ bowel “ ( served on a plate ) was just out of the refrigerator cold. My blood orange old fashioned was nothing spectacular or even memorable. All in all it was just ok, which is a shame because it's a cool venue. Not worth the trip or the $$

The cocktails were outstanding--couldn't have been better. The food was fine--entirely edible, but nothing at all to write home about. The food was not at all at the level of the cocktails. Would definitely go back for drinks and maybe small plates. Would love to see the quality of the entrees rise to a higher level.
