Stopped in today for lunch. This location is part of Recon Brewing @Hastings, and they run the kitchen here for the brewery. You order both your food and beer all at the same time with the bartender. Today I had the Poutine to accompany a Hazy IPA beer. The Poutine portion was HUGE, and I wasn't able to eat it all, so I would say you should definitely bring a friend to share it with. Steve and Benny's has opened up a second location @ Recon brewing at Hastings. Stopped in for a meal and to have a cold one. Actually had the Shrimp Po' Boy at the recommendation or our great waitress. She was correct a really good sandwich on a real fresh bun. Had the side of Mac & Cheese that is very cheesy and good. A really nice meal in a nice atmosphere.

This place has become a regular spot for us. It's great to finally have something so close by that has great beer, food, service, and atmosphere. The outdoor seating is fantastic when the weather cooperates. The menu has a great selection of pub style food that hits weigh above its weight class.
