“Love the food here. Great little family place with something for everyone. They have everything from wings and burgers to steak and lobster. Its a family owned business and they are great people who take pride in their food and customers. I worked here for some time so I ate the food almost daily and still enjoy it. My fiance is a huge fan of the steak hoagie and I love it all! Great place to try if u have never been. And its in a great location so there is no rowdy crowd. Highly recommend Ventura's to everyone!!!“

“Chef Salvatore of Salvatore's Pizza and Pasta - Brooklyn's Finest in Rostraver Twp, PA deserves praise for his delicious entrées and pizza. We were too busy to eat in, so we ordered takeout. Our order was substantial and offered three separate dinners for us to enjoy. The pizza was delicious! The handmade sauce and crust were delectable, and YES!!! I KNOW there are an insane number of pizza places within a 5-mile radius, BUT NOT ALL PIZZA IS THE SAME, and it's occasionally good to mix things up. Then there was baked ziti, chicken parmesan, meatballs, and garlic knots. Mouthful of Italian bliss!!! The chicken was tender and flavorful. The meatballs were out of this world. The baked ziti, spaghetti, and garlic knots were delicious. “Get the gnocchi in red sauce - trust me. Hand made fluffy pillows of goodness. The salad is also amazing. Love their house dressing (even bought some to-go to take home and use on my own salads) can’t recommend this place enough. Risotto ball appetizer is really good too.“

“I had my mother's celebration of life at La Eda's and it was perfect. Karla was so easy to work with. Had a personalized menu for guests to choose from. We were able to choose 2-3 entrees fir guests to choose from. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. This was the perfect restaurant for our celebration! Thank you so much!“

“First time here. This place had recently opened up. Been wanting to stop here. So we decided to make this our place of choice for dinner. We stopped and I ordered a 12" chicken hoagie, 6" chicken hoagie, side of pierogi, side of chicken salad, 6x6 square thick pepperoni pizza, came with two breadsticks and a chocolate chip cookie. It all came to $24. I was like did you get my entire order and she did. I was confused on why it was so darn cheap. She said 30 minutes.I left to go home and come back. I arrived back and it still wasn't ready. It took 45 minutes. When I seen how small the sides were. Sides aren't a meal of it's own. It was incredibly small. Like 3 inches small round plastic container. You need to have a full meal. Due to this, I had to go and get french fries elsewhere for my daughter.Now how was the food? The hoagie I thought was very good. The pizza was okay, but very small. It wasn't thick at all. It was probably 2 " in size for 4 slices, not 6. Not sure what 6x6 is but whatever. They're starting off and they need good solid business. 2 people were working, maybe the owner and a young lady. They were doing a good job. However they seemed a little distracted and confused at times.“

“Had the pleasure of eating at The Back Porch Restaurant last night. At the recommendation of our FB friends we chose to dine in the Side Door Speakeasy and weren’t disappointed. We were entertaining friends from Scottdale and they were equally impressed by the experience. I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she was a joy. We started with the appetizer sampler which had shrimp cocktail, ribs, General Tso’s cauliflower and brie with pita chips. Everything was delicious. We also ordered the bread appetizer which offered a cinnamon butter and blue cheese balsamic butter both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The entrees ordered were scallops, crab cakes and the tomahawk pork chop. Everyone raved about their food selections. We ordered sides of garlic mashed potatoes, risotto and carrots. The sides were sampled by the four of us and there were still leftovers to take home. Our waitress informed us that side dishes are family size and she wasn’t kidding!! We also had Sangria and white wine along with the special strawberry crème brûlée for dessert which was incredible!! Kudos to the chef and our wonderful waitress for making our first visit to The Back Porch in probably 40 years one to remember!! We will definitely return before another 40 years passes!!“

“Visited this fine establishment with some friends and I must say, the food is amazing. The venue is for fine dining and is small and quaint. So make sure you make a reservation or you will find yourself out of luck. It can also be pricey but with what you get it's well worth a special night with your spouse or small group. I had the Lobster Romano which was amazing. And my wife had the filet mignon. She's already asking to return for her birthday. Everything here is quality. A+“
