I live nearby and my kids go to the high school nearby. I've heard from numerous kids that almost all the workers in there are very rude to the children. I'm not foolish enough to think that the kids are always nice either but there are two pizza shops in walking distance, and I don't hear any stories about the other one. They have a policy that you have to buy something to eat there, which is completely understandable, but I know many kids who have been yelled at and thrown out even when they do buy something. Kids, vote with your feet and buy your lunch elsewhere! I haven't had great experiences there as an adult either, so I simply don't go there any more.

Ordered off slice. after an hour of waiting (past the time they said it would be delivered) since i knew they would be busy, i messaged slice only to find that my order was "delivered". after clear delivery instructions regarding confirmation of delivery due to confusion with my address. and here we are. no dinner and utter disappointment in this company as they said that the order was delivered and confirmed at the front door when someone picked it up and they would not reconcile. so no dinner for me and my family as someone got a stolen pizza. way to go Zag's

I've reviewed before but after yesterday I really wanted to again. Zag's is hands down my favorite local dining. We hadn't been in a while but decided to stop in when walking home from the school's winter chorus concert. The food was PERFRCT. I'd been craving an eggplant pqrm sub for a while and couldn't have asked for a better one. We must have gotten there at just the right time for the fresh baked bread because that roll was amazing. And even better than the food was the service. Friendly, generous, courteous. I believe it's the owner who was in yesterday and he's always absolutely great. And this is a little silly and sappy, lol, but it really had me reflecting. We've been taking our daughter in there since she was an infant in a stroller. When she was old enough to have pizza they were always kind and mindful enough to cut her slice up into smaller pieces without even needing to ask. And I think yesterday was the first time she held the slice herself (cut in half as it's a generously sized slice, lol) rather than cutting the whole thing up. Just kind of gets ya in the feels to look back and seen how she's grown and hit those milestones in the context of one particular place we've always enjoyed. And they always seem to remember her and are so kind to her. I swear this isn't some kind of paid endorsement, as over the top as it sounds, haha. But due to a family member's declining health it's been a hard month or so and seeing kindness and generosity always goes a long way to lifting my spirits and I like to spread it around further when I can. So I really wanted to express my appreciation and fondness for this little local gem of a place. Thanks for always being awesome, Zag's!

we often order from Zags because let's face it, the food is delicious! well today has made them my top favorite place to order from. my 8yr old is partially deaf in both ears and we are learning sign language. the gentleman who delivered our food tonight went above and beyond and used some sign language with my child. my son was so over the moon with it. I absolutely love the service we get from this establishment and seeing that today just made it 100x better. thank you for great food and great service from the whole staff.

Service was fast, owner was friendly, prices are really great! We got slices by the pie and they were nothing to write home about. One was inedible because it wasn’t baked long enough and it was like eating raw dough — not sure how they didn’t notice.Mac and cheese appetizer was probably the best I’ve ever had.Clean restaurant.They carry lots of different menu items which I did not try and would have liked to: soup, subs, wings, gluten free crusts, etc. They seem willing to make substitutions for anyone and flexibility counts for something!
Manager was great! Stromboli was excellent. Just moved here and Zags is definitely on our list of favorites.

Upon a recommendation from a friend, we tried Zag's for pizza one night. We decided to order the Margarita and the Pittsburgher, and it was honestly some of the best pizza I've ever had! The dough is chewy and you can tell the toppings are fresh! I'm looking forward to trying some of their other speciality pizzas in the future!

Fantastic pizza joint we recently discovered. I always call ahead and pickup, but always ready quickly. Highly recommend the Margherita pizza. Will be trying more menu items in the future.

Pizza was mostly cheese not much sauce. Fettuccine with broccoli and chicken was mostly noodles hardly any sauce or broccoli and chicken. The baked ziti was mostly ziti noodles hardly any sauce or meat and not much flavor. The salad was good the honey mustard had no flavor though. Also, when we had the Stromboli it was ok, but the bread is too soft or something not the usual..didn't really like it much. The whole meal was a waste of money. We won't be back.
