Asked if they were hiring for a friend lady some come pick up an application. I said so does that mean you’re hiring? She said I can’t disclose that but you can pick up an application and try. Better luck getting an interview on spot at McDonald’s or Wendy’s they probably pay a couple dollars more an hour anyways. Trash hiring service.

Had a powerful hankering for some BBQ. Decided the closest place was Hog Fathers. Got the Backyard Special (Ribs, Chicken, Sausage) It has been a VERY long time since I had food this bad. Those black squigly things under the ribs are supposed to be peppers & onions. That charcoaled brick on the plate beside the chicken was supposed to be a link of sausage. The chicken had so much salt . . .Needless to say thank God for the beans and coleslaw or I would have starved. There must be a reason they fold the bag over and staple it together.

Not brisket, more like a flank steak they set on fire for a few minutes before they handed it over. Mashed potatoes were not edible, Mac n cheese was like a poorly made easy Mac.

Server was nice. But food was awful. Half the menu was not available. No ribs, chicken, salmon, burgers or root beer. Since half the menu was unavailable we ordered fish and chips and brisket. The brisket was like bacon. Really thin and it was burnt. It was awful! My wife ordered fish and chips. Asked for tartar sauce, they said they don't have any and gave her mayo and ranch dressing . Food was so bad nobody finished their meal. We ordered loaded fries and they didn't have the ingredients for that. While the cooks were making our meal you could see them eating food too. Just gross to watch. An hour later we went to a different place for food. Because we were still hungry. I would never recommend going here. $60 of horrible food. We spent another $50 for a real meal one hour later.

great place for BBQ with a backyard style. I was traveling on vacation and went south of my area just to go to a Sonny's restaurant which I always liked. This place is just as good. Everything tasted great. Little too much salt on the sausage though it seemed. Had trouble choosing between menu items as they have some great selections.

Went to hog fathers the other day for lunch with my husband and both of us ended up sick called to request a manager to call me back about the product that we both had which was the chicken and never got a callback called again to make sure they can pull the product and still no and get a callback. The server was great so in the story if you want to pay $40 to have food poisoning. This is the place canonsburg location.

The place is a bit eclectic but our order was good. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. I think it's pretty typical for a BBQ restaurant in Pittsburgh.

Excellent food and service! I highly recommend this place. I enjoyed the pulled pork and garlic mashed potatoes. My hubby had the brisket wrap with fries — also delicious!
Terrible. I tried to make a phone order and the girl I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude. I think her name was Candace. Never eating there again.

Excellent food and service. The brisket had a lovely smoke ring and bark, and the quick grilling before serving kept it fresh and delicious. The whipped garlic potatoes stole some of the spotlight, though - creamy and delectable, piping hot and smooth. Although I marked a star off for sticky floors, the food more than made up for it. Excellent work, folks!

We walked into a dimly, sticky floored dump. The food was pre- cooked and prepared and reheated on the grill or oven. My brisket was like shoe leather. The only redeeming feature were the French fries. Couldn't wait to leave.

What a gem. Fantastic fall of the bone ribs. I had the ribs, chicken, sausage combo. All fabulous. Great bbq sauce made on the premises. Super friendly folks too. Just go-you'll love it.
