We aren't from the area and we stopped in to order a few subs. (Sunday 9/25/2022) I don't know the young man's name, but he was absolutely phenomenal. He was personable, professional, and very knowledgeable. He took the initiative to make my sub the way he would have liked it done. I really appreciate the extra time he put into making our experience a pleasant one. A lot of people don't bother themselves if the patrons aren't local or regulars. Stopped for lunch during my motorcycle ride to Utica, NY. Very clean facility, in fact one of the cleanest Subway restaurants I have ever visited. It was clear to me that the franchise owner cared about the customer experience, because the staff was friendly and very competent. The restroom was spotless and to top it off, there were breath mints on every table (comes in handy when eating sandwiches containing raw onions). Well, usually we have fabulous service but this was an exception. Our daughter was out and stopped at a Subway not near our home town. Our order was no where near what we expected but still ok. I'm guessing the person was new on the job and not sure of what he/she was doing. Instead of a sub roll we got wrapped sandwiches with little on them. But I am not complaining. We still were fed.
