I walked in and staff did not greet me, I waited a few moments for them to notice me and they did. The staff really seemed disinterested in where they work like they did not want to be there. I placed an order for a single slice of pizza while asking about one of the crusty rice balls, the lady did explain what they were to me which was one with beef and mozzarella as well as a vegan option. I decided to order the beef and mozzarella rice ball in addition to my previous order. When the lady brought me my food, she did not say thank you or anything which was rude so I said thank you and left.I started to eat my food and the flavors tasted really muted and dull. The pizza slice was mainly grease with low flavor cheese/pepperoni and sausage. The rice ball tasted like a wet mash with beef in it that didn't seem spiced or anything and the rice ball was really greasy on the inside as well. All the food did not have any real flavor or spice to it, it was disappointing!Supposedly...this is a popular place in town, but I will go somewhere else next time I want a quick lunch.

Really great food and reasonably friendly service. I was hoping for more of a sit down and eat kind of place but it's good for what it is. Quality pasta, cannoli, and gelato. I had meat lasagna and cannoli and my friend had fettuccini bolognese which she said she liked. Big servings so it's a good thing they come in to go containers. You do have to pay for street parking which is a bummer. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Delicious authentic Italian food. There are so many options. We plan to try more.
We ordered food off of slice and gave a 20% tip. The order came to over $50, and drove from Millersburg Pa to come try this place. When we went inside to get our order, we were told someone else just came in two minutes earlier and showed them our order. The owners wife said that the guy did that a week earlier and she was hesitant to give our order to him, but the owner was treating us like we were trying to get food for free and we sent this guy in to get our order so we can get another order made at no cost. After showing our order to the owner, he was still acting like we were in the wrong and he didn’t want to make the food that we ordered that he wrongly gave to someone else. We said we would wait for them to remake it, and the whole time the owner was giving dirty looks and speaking Italian to his wife so we couldn’t understand what was being said.All that being said, the food is delicious. However, I will NEVER be returning to this establishment. Not one apology was made from the owner and we were treated like we were criminals trying to scam him.

I highly recommend their gourmet pizzas. My favorite is the vegetariana but we tried the prosciutto & burratta, amatriciana, and crostino pizzas and they are all good. The crust is excellent; the toppings are too. You can tell the food is made fresh in the store, rather than frozen which a lot of restaurants do these days. Ideal for take out since the location has limited seating. Hands down my favorite pizza spot in Carlisle!
