My son and I come up to Carlisle every year for the Porsche swap meet at the fairgrounds and always look forward to some Redd’s. Staff is friendly, bbq is wonderful, place is clean and the sauces are yummy. This year I had the burrito and loved it. We are a well traveled family and have had loads of bbq and Redd’s is always high on the list.

We always start with the Nacho's that feed 4 head with leftovers. Each gets an entree and we have leftovers from it to got the hotel that nightBrisket is my fave, jalapeno cheddar sausage next, I never leave without an order of wings!
What is not to like about this place? The food is spectacular. BYOB and the wait staff is awesome! If it's your first time, make sure you do the pulled pork... out of this world. Oddly enough, I loved the jalapeno sausage! Perfect blend!! I would also get the smoked wings.. Nice Smokey flavor. Very tender! Overall A ++

We were r commended to Redd’s BBQ. We had a great lunch. I am vegetarian and enjoyed my meal. I had a Redd’s salad with tomato vinaigrette it was made from scratch, yummy. I had the smoked bbq portobello mushrooms which were very good. My daughter had the pulled pork which she really liked. I know she will be back for all you can eat chicken wings.

While the service was nice and very friendly, and the interior clean and spacious, the food was average at best. The sauces were not good, which isn’t a good sign at a bbq place. The sides were okay as were the mains. We were recommended this place by friends but see no reason to ever go back.

The half turkey we ordered for Thanksgiving was perfect! It came with plenty of stuffing and gravy and both were delicious. With the main part of the meal covered, making the rest of the sides at home was easy. Please continue to offer this on your menu for the holidays.
