The food is great and the staff is quick and polite. I am from Maryland and approve of their crab cakes. If you know, you know. Gyro is pretty good as well. It would be great if they put just a touch more meat on it.

Hanna our server was friendly and very professional. Broiled crabcakes and broiled haddock dinners were delicious.

More than pleasantly surprised when I saw the prices on the menu and very good selection.

Food was really yummy. It wasn't overly crowded even though it was busy. Atmosphere was pleasant. Plenty of room in the back parking lot. Greeter was very friendly. Only complaint was waitress was very much not friendly. Obviously either a bad day or the one off for the place. Would have given five stars but it was so obvious that she was almost mad at us for being there.

Our first time there and we were disappointed with the food and service. We had to wait a longer than expected time for our silverware. When the food came out some of the food was cold.. sorry but I don't think we will be going back to the restaurant.

Service and food can be hit or miss here.Sometimes the server will be attentive and ask about drink refills, other times they don't. Recently we were one of only 3-4 tables at dinnertime and was seated by the hostess. We waited 10 minutes and after no one came over despite several workers looking at us I found the hostess and asked if we had a server. She put us in a section where the waitress was on break. There have been other times where a younger server was just going through the motions. She even told us that one of the cakes in the dessert case was over a week old, she thinks. Instead of checking with management, she just blurted out something. Very unmotivated. But, there are several servers who are very good.As for food, again hit or miss. Fish basket much better than fish sandwich. Turkey sandwich, bacon, meatloaf, chicken fried steak all very good. California medley vegetable looked and tasted like it had been in hot water the entire day. Tasteless and colorless. But, the chili is excellent!. Prices aren't bad and portion size is usually pretty good as well. The dinner entrée chicken tenders has 6 pieces but not the highest quality tenders available. For some reason, the restaurant is kept on the cooler side. I would think that you would want a warm, welcoming temperature in the middle of winter? I kept a sweatshirt on as did my wife. Even then it was chilly.

A friend suggested Sunnyside as a get together for coworkers. We love it. We often go there for breakfast ?
