THERE ARE WAAAAY BETTER CHINESE RESTAURANTS ! We just moved to Saint Thomas so we have them a try. Extremely disappointing! I can make better Chinese food and I'm Hispanic... Food was barely warm when we got it. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes for it to get to our house and we live 5 minutes up the road. But we notice that our receipt said EGG ROLL KING and not EGG ROLL QUEEN! And egg roll kingis out of mercersburg NOT Saint Thomas! This is pretty much false advertising since the food you order is NOT from the Saint That's location and explains how the Saint Thomas location can have all their lights shutoff but still say that they're "Open" in the window....and for such a name, their egg rolls are pretty terrible when compared with literally any other Chinese restaurant I've ever been to.

We were in the area and used Google to get to this place. The sign in the door said to call a number to the egg roll king and place the order from the menu taped to the window then sit in the parking lot for someone to deliver food to you sitting in the parking lot. Its a shame as We have heard so many great things about this restaurant but this fell flat.

Their food is always delicious and the people are so nice. After the lockdowns, they moved to one location and still make the drive out to me, despite being further away now.Their fried chicken has a crispy skin, and the meat is succulent. Just thinking of it makes me hungry. The Beef Mei Fun absorbs the flavor and seasoning into the rice noodle in a way that I’ve never experienced before. For the days when I’m feeling “health conscious” I get the steamed chicken and broccoli with steamed rice and the serving size leaves me satisfied.

STILL Really good Chinese food after all these years. Food arrived HOT and 10 minutes faster than time given. Staff friendly. Good tasting Chinese food! Still a favorite for Chinese.

This has been our go-to place since moving to St. Paul. The egg rolls are not only huge but delicious! I really enjoy the chicken teriyaki as a more complete meal. The chicken tastes fresh, not greasy and the portion is perfect. More recently, an employee went above & beyond for my family when we struggled with picking up our order before closing. Thank you!

Closed during COVID, but sister store Egg Roll King will prepare and deliver your order to your home or the Queen location. Problem is the King isn't as good as the Queen. (Pre COVID review) This restaurant could be a five star with small changes that would make a huge difference. For example the crispy soup noodles and egg rolls appear and taste baked rather than fried. Not good. Wonton soup - the best wontons in the area. They are made with the thick skins and a delightful filling. The soup broth is somewhat boring. This soup would be greatly improved by adding bok choy as I did (see picture). Many dishes are missing and they need water chestnuts. Mushrooms- are awful. I think they are reconstituted and dishes would be much better with canned mushrooms. House crispy soup noodles and egg rolls appear and taste baked. Both should be fried. House duck sauce- tastes like they opened packages into a bowl. They need to get the dark duck sauce found in all decent NY Chinese restaurants. These little changes could take this restaurant over the top. Sesame Oil- I don't think they use it and this could be a reason many of the dishes fall flat. This should be a staple in any Chinese restaurant. Chow fun/Ho Fun and Mei Fun suffer here from lack of sesame oil. Queens rice noodles stick together and this is easily solved by drizzling sesame oil over the dish once cooked. Their noodles are overcooked making the dish mushy. You can pick up the entire serving on one fork. Try to make this at home. It's easy and delicious! 12 oz. fresh wide rice noodles 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 4 scallions (split in half vertically and cut into 3-inch pieces) 3 thin slices ginger 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce 2 tablespoons regular soy sauce 1/8 teaspoon sugar salt and white pepper (to taste) 4 to 6 ounces fresh mung bean sprouts Drizzle with sesame oil once cooked.

I called in an order last night for pick up was told 25 to 30 minutes. When I got to the restaurant there's a note on the door saying to call when arrived. I called and said that I was there for my order, I was then told they were running behind and it would be another 15 to 20 minutes, I wasn't thrilled but ok fine. Well almost 30 minutes go by and a car pulls into the restaurants parking lot, there are by then 3 other cars waiting. Here its the guy delivering our food going car to car in the parking lot! Ok I thought they were in cooking it at the restaurant which was locked but she neon sign said open! Soo apparently they're not cooking the food there, so where then? At this point I'm already late to where I was going I gave the guy cash and a tip and left. Well this morning I look at my receipt and I was charged a delivery fee! Wth.... I went to pick it up! I will not be giving this restaurant any more of my business.

They deliver from the Eggroll King in Mercersburg whether it's takeout or delivery. This is not an issue if you like their food, but just keep that in mind when ordering; you will get food that has traveled 10-15 minutes at the minimum and will likely not be hot when you get it.

Ok so first off if you order food from here they make it 18 mins away and then drive it there lol. So if your into cold egg rolls then this place is for you. Took 30 mins to get 4 egg rolls and I was sitting in the parking lot of this place. Little did I know they where being delivered and not made for me at the resturaunt I ordered them from. Please do your self a favor and grab some egg rolls and sheetz or rutters. Please also be advised that any and all of there good reviews are 10 years old lol

Felt extremely rushed when trying to place my order. The food was very bland.... not worth it!

Staff is usually very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Food is pretty good and I have yet to find something I don't like. Definitely worth checking out!

Went into the store and was greeted by several rats. Absolutely disgusting. Will not go back. I would recommend going to the subway next door.
