Best bang for your buck! I always get the salad bar. Great selection, nachos, Mac and cheese,tons of desserts, and of course all the salad fixings.

The service was great, friendly and attentive to all our wants. I'm rating the salad bar only because that's what my wife and I had recently for lunch. It's been a long time since I've had a meal there. We had the soup, salad and dessert bar for $11.99 each. Soda $3.19 each and about $19.00 each after tax and tip. We found the salad bar to be mediocre. Diced ham and pepperoni but no chicken. tomatoes were hard and the cucumber was soggy and had a strange color. Only one cheese choice. We did find some Mozzarella cheese by the French Onion Soup. I would prefer whole olives on a salad rather than finely diced and mushey. I liked the chicken soup. My wife tried the Cheddar Bay and Stuffed Pepper soups but didn't care for either one. Their entrees seem pricy and old fashioned. It was nice having lunch at Hoss's. It was like taking a step back in time, but at todays prices. If my wife and I would have gotten the entrees with the salad for the additional $5.99, we probably would have been closer to about $60.00 for lunch. That would be the lower price entrees. If steak and surf-n-turf is what you are hungry for, and you are comfortable with those prices, then Hoss's would be a good choice.

The service was good. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We were meeting over lunch and requested a table with access to an electrical outlet and she opened an area especially for us. The food was fresh and very tasty.

Everything about our experience was just okay or a little less. That is except for the salad. The iceberg lettuce had a definite brown hue suggesting it was starting to go bad. The main draw for Hoss's for MANY years has been the salad bar. When this isn't so fresh, it'll certainly sour one's willingness to come back.Additionally that 1/4 burger was served with a crunchy mostly green tomato! What the heck Hoss's?

Took my mom here for her birthday, it had been a while since we had been to Hoss's. Burger and food bar were really good, really enjoyed the soup too. Our waitress was great and always made sure we had our drinks refilled!

I’m not a judge of steaks, but when you have a Cleaver Cut that is tender, juicy, and flavorful, you got a GOOD steak!! Take a bite of steak with some mushrooms, makes me hungry just typing this!And our waitress did a great job and was very pleasant. And do I need to mention the salad bar? Nothing like building your own salad! That’s the only way I like them!

The waitresses were friendly. Zoey was our waitress, and she kept us informed as our food was getting prepared. She also kept our table cleaned as we went through the salad bar rounds. The salad bar has the essentials and it was greatly maintained by the staff: I even saw a Quality Control person assigned to check the temperatures in the salad bar! I highly recommend to stop by and have a meal under the control of this crew.... you will enjoy it!Well done, guys!
