Pleasant enough staff and excellent quiche but the "chocolate frosted brownie" was basically a boxed brownie with a drizzle of chocolate syrup. I had bought a panini to take home to my husband and when I opened it, it was literally 2 hot dog buns that had been briefly pressed. I'm embarrassed to have recommended this place to my out-of-town friend. Unbelievable

The Reuben elbows was just an ungrilled sandwich cut in half. The home fries still had snap in the taters, so undercooked, and the soup was like gelatin. Everything had awesome ingredients but just wasn't prepared that well.

Food was fine for lunch. The interior needs help and it's very dark in there. I like dark but it's too dark. None of them wear masks during covid-19 so that's kind of gross. They were very polite though. I can recommend for take out only.

Every Tuesday my wife and I support small businesses as they are struggling during COVID-19. Last Tuesday we tried Main St. Deli for takeout the staff was friendly. My wife got the Egg Salad Sandwich and I got the Chefs Salad. First off there was hardly any meat in the Chefs Salad it was all lettuce and Croutons. My wife's Egg Salad Sandwich was "meh". We wanted to love Main St. Deli but we would not be back.

I'm not a local and needed some catering on very short notice for after my father's funeral. After hitting road blocks with numerous other local caterers (due to COVID), we were given Cindy's name and contact info. In 24 hours, she pulled together a lovely meal for 30 people, including sandwiches, salads, fruit and dessert. Pulling off a funeral for a loved one during a pandemic was so challenging. We are so thankful to Main Street Deli for coming through for us in a pinch and making this part of the process so easy and enjoyable. I look forward to visiting the Deli on future visits to Chambersburg!

LOVE their Lettuceless Salad with their DELICIOUS Homeade salad dressing to go with it. It has been a FAVORITE of mine since I started ordering it (after someone recommended to me) when I was 22 on my lunch hour. I got it to go yesterday on my 59 Birthday!! Hasn't changed at all because it didn't need to! It is SO GOOD and has everything you need in it to feel satisfied and like you "Did your body good!" And, they have REALLY GOOD Iced Tea ( and have for years) which is SO IMPORTANT to a previous Southerner!!

there was nobody around for about 4-5 minutes. we waited until somebody came down from upstairs. we were greeted, seated and given menus. service was actually hood. pricey though, for the food they offer. kids chicken strips were purdue dinosaur nuggets. the bacon was served cold. the chicken salad salad was bagged lettuce and carrots with 2 small scoops of bland chicken salad. the vegetable panini was just ok. first and last visit for us
