I went to Flour and Oat today for the first time. Usually local bakeries are substandard at best. The baked goods at Flour and Oats are fabulous. Even better than my home baked. Will definitely be back and will recommend to my Airbnb guests as well. All their offerings are scrumptious.

I visited this store twice, and both times the staff seemed a bit indifferent, and the cookies were only okay. During my first visit, I wasn't greeted, and on the second occasion, the service was lackluster. The prices led me to expect something special, but they tasted comparable to cookies from the grocery store, albeit at double the cost. It's disheartening, especially considering the lack of customer presence during my drive-bys. I had high hopes, especially seeing them at community events, but my experiences have been disappointing.

I can’t speak highly enough about Flour & Oats cookie shop. It is a hidden gem, and the staff always greet me so warm and personally when I walk through the door. Most importantly, the cookies themselves are incredible. They have both classic flavors, which are great for the kids, and some more sophisticated ones which are great to bring to a dinner party or other event. If you ever stop in, I also recommend trying one of their baked scones– I am not exaggerating when I say it is probably the best scones I’ve ever had in my life. I also appreciate that each item is individually wrapped to prolong freshness, although I admit they have never lasted in my house longer than a day!

Flour & Oats cookies are the best around! I love buying a variety and sharing them with friends so we can all have a taste of each. Both the classic cookies and seasonal flavors are consistently delicious. The bakery is also a great space to savor a coffee and a scone!

Impossible to find this quality of product almost anywhere in general. Cookies are flavorful, melt in your mouth. Favorites are the chocolate chip and shortbread, but there are so many interesting and innovative flavors. I can’t stop eating them. Phenomenal addition to Philly area.

These are truly the best cookies I’ve ever had and I’m not one to exaggerate things. The snickerdoodle and ginger ones in particular I could eat with every meal

Cookies were ordered on the date they recommended to ensure delivery by Thanksgiving! They arrived 2 days late. The Linzer cookies did not look like the website pictures, they did not have the decorative sugar on them. I’m very disappointed.I won’t order again.

Love this place. They have the best scones that I have had and their cookies are delicious. If my wife and I are anywhere near the store we always stop in.

I've been driving past Flour & Oats for years and have been wanting to stop in and check it out. The local bakeries I've sampled have been disappointing, but I had a feeling I was in for an upgrade. Let me tell you, I know a good baked good.Growing up on Long Island I worked for one of the best bakeries in the area during high school and college and I'm a decent home baker so when I stopped by Flour & Oats and read "Valrhona Cocoa" on the ingredient list on one of their cookies I knew it was going to be good. It wasn't good, it was incredible. But before I get ahead of myself... the shop is very charming, super clean and well run. When I walked in the woman behind the counter was helping a, ahem, shall I say a challenging customer, and even so, she greeting me with a big smile and a warm welcome. Now, here's some honest information, imho, about the cookies I sampled. I'm going to pick these apart the way I do when I bake something...in other words, I'm going to channel Paul Hollywood and get down and honest. I mentioned the Double Chocolate Bliss was, well, bliss. However, I sampled the lemon poppy shortbread sandwich cookie. The texture was very nice but the filling didn't have the sweet, zippy lemon I was anticipating. In fact, if I didn't read the name of the cookie I wouldn't have known the filling was lemon. They had a coconut, chocolate chip & toffee bits cookie. The texture and the initial coconut flavor was very nice. But where was the chocolate and toffee? I searched and found tiny specs of what must have been the most miniature chocolate chips and I have no idea where they were hiding the toffee because I couldn't see 'em, couldn't taste 'em. If an ingredient is mentioned in the name of the product it should be seen and tasted. There was also too many thick strands of unsweetened coconut that added too much texture to chew and no flavor. But, the texture of the overall cookie was wonderful. I will be bake, I mean back, to try some other goodies and to enjoy the lovely energy of the shop.
