It was getting late and a lot of other restaurants showed up in Google as closed or about to close, so I selected Aunt Lu's without even realizing it was a truck stop.There's a stereotype that truck stop food is good, but it's only true some of the time. It certainly was in this case! I had the really nice steak, and the side of onion rings was among the crispiest I've ever had. But the surprise was when I ordered the salad as my other side, and server Jennifer rattled off from memory what sounded like around 20 available salad dressings! With a memory like that, I don't know how she isn't a contestant on Jeopardy.Service great, food great, and effect on my day definitely positive.“

“Looking for a non chain restaurant with good food when traveling HWY 80? This place is about 5 miles off highway 80 and looks like a typical bar on outside however don’t let that stop you from trying it. Angela the owner takes such pride in her place and ensures it is good food and a friendly experience. We had their hamburgers which were great and the dump sauce on wings was a garlic lovers paradise! Overall great experience and will stop here again when traveling through.“
