“Surprisingly, very good pizza! My family and I met the owner and one of his associates and both were extremely friendly. While the pizza’s that we ordered took a little time to make, they were outstanding. We had a square pepperoni, a round cheese and a few slices of white. Being in rural Northeastern PA, our expectations were low but I would put this pizza up against just about anything.”

“Such a great place to visit while in Union Dale. The owners are amazing and full of hospitality. Lots of scratch made items that are incredible. Ask to try the Jalapeno and Jameson shot, or some of the home made wing sauces using local ingredients. The dice game to pick your beer is fun with a few friends! Live music on weekends is a big plus. This is our new goto place for sure!”

“Friendly little family style/diner restaurant. They have a cool oval high top bar/counter. Nothing fancy, but the service was good and it was clean. The food was good, we got breakfast. The prices were reasonable as compared to some places now. Definitely wanna get back here. Took a picture of my breakfast sandwich, but accidentally deleted it! It was a decent size one, with double egg!”

“I had an ice cream, it was very good. There was only one person helping customers, it took a bit long to get service. Nice tables in front, the best part; a working sink to clean your shelf. “So after seeing the great review,s on this place, I had to go & try it myself! Gotta say, buying hibachi from a gas station seems kinda weird. BUT...DEFINITELY WILL GO AGAIN! I got the Steak & Shrimp with noodles, the servings were huge, and OH SO GOOD! Everything was cooked perfectly. The one thing that I was bummed out about was there wasn't as many veggies as I like. Next time I'll get a side of veggies to fix that. The sauces are wonderful, and complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were kind, and super friendly. I recommend trying this spot out, it's definitely some great food!”

“Had great food in a low key atmosphere. The baked food are so good and plentiful choices. I wish they sold their peach pepper relish. I had a Danish grilled cheese with Havarti, turkey and peach pepper relish. Definitely a so for baked goods on our way to and from the finger lakes.”

We were bicycling the nearby rail trail and wanted to stop at Forest City.We ordered an Italian sub and a meatball parmesan sub. Ingredients are high quality Boars Head cold cuts and homemade meatballs and sub rolls. Two of us split to try them both.Service was friendly with both our preparer and the owner Janine conversing with us. Excellent quality at reasonable prices. Also try their other restaurant nearby, K & J' Kitchen. A great find.”

“Fantastic & accommodating people! On Thanksgiving day, hours after the main event meal was over, my 5-year-old was hungry. We were renting a nice lake house at Acre Lake for the holiday, so although we had TONS of Thanksgiving leftovers, there was nothing other than that for him to eat.I remembered the pizza at Acre Lake Store nearby was good, so I tentatively called to see if they were open. They were! Although they were only serving Thanksgiving dinner, I hoped they could maybe sell me something he would eat. The woman on the phone that I spoke to was extremely helpful, & suggested a few things. We ended up getting bread, cheese, & butter to make grilled cheese for him. Evening saved! She even added a bag of macaroni, which he ate as well. Great experience, nice people - above & beyond experience.”

“Wonderful little brewery off 81. Highly recommend stopping for a pour or cans to go. It's Christmas Eve Eve (2023), and they have a phenomenal beer, Pastry Time Smoked Chocolate Smore Stout on draft right now. Super delicious.”
