It's been a good while since my last visit, just prior to the pandemic of 2020. However, the food and service have always been great. Ambiance is alright considering the fact that this little place is located in a small strip mall that does not face a major street.

I was tasked with finding a place to eat while we were in the Coatesville area. I didn't know much about this area but after reading several reviews I sellected Alquisiras. It was def a great choice and if I'm ever in this area again I will come back. It was a little confusing when we walked in bc the place was empty and no one came to seat us. We waited a while and eventually someone came to help us. We weren't in a rush so it really wasn't a big deal for us to wait. The chips and salsa that we were served while we read the menu were delish! The menu was quite extensive. We ended up ordering guac to start and it was very fresh and delicious. We also ordered the enchiladas. It came with beans, rice, and a fresh salad. You could pick if you wanted 4 or 6 enchiladas and I selected 6 so I would have some leftovers. The menu listed a pork, chicken, and cheese mix and I asked them to leave out the chicken which they accommodated. I would def ordered this again. We also ordered something called parradillas(?) I prob spelled this wrong lol. Anyway there was so much variety on this plate - beans, rice, steak, chicken, chorizo, chili relleno, a diff type of stuffed pepper, roasted veggies and I forget what else. It was spectacular. And as we were eating the 3 men at the table next to us all ordered it too so it must be their best dish. We also had a chicken quesadilla that was huge and delish. Everyone who came in to eat at the restaurant was spanish speaking and we were the only ones who were not - so that is another way to know it was authentic. Def if you are in the area stop here. Leave room for desserts too. Their dessert fridge looked awesome but I just didn't have room in my belly to order any.

This is the best authentic Mexican cuisine I have found on the east coast. The service is wonderful. I have walked by the kitchen many times, always noticed the cleanliness. It's a family owned restaurant, it can be loud with birthday parties and just general business. They speak fluent English and Spanish. Go in, sit down, order your food, eat the free chips and AMAZING salsa. Enjoy. Found this in my drafts and figured I'd post it a few years late. This review is probably from 2018 but I'm sure it's still just as good.

A good Mexican place for delivery or takeout. Sometimes the tacos are really exceptional, sometimes they're just ok. Your best chance is on the weekend but it's still unpredictable. Worth a shot. Lots of choices but I like Al Pastor. There are better choices around but this one is good and tends to be less expensive.

Love the food. So delicious. Would have given 5 stars but I got approx 3 chips with my guac and chip order

I love the menudo! The broth is thicker than most broths & very well seasoned. I only use lime when I season my broth which is a plus. Most broths I have to throw onions, cilantro, salt, & lime in! The tacos are great also! I've had the lengua & bistec tacos. Both are great. They are street taco size. Great service and low key atmosphere! Saturdays they have outdoor seating with some sort of churrasco on an open fire out front. Very family friendly!

We ordered door dash delivery and everything arrived surprisingly hot. We had a combination of street tacos, chips, guacamole and a few other items to try. My favorite things? Definitely the salsas. Really spicy and flavorful. The green salsa had a nice kick to it but the red salsa was definitely the hottest. I thought the guacamole was excellent and the chips were really fresh. The shrimp tacos arrive rather naked... two lightly spiced jumbo shrimp laying in a corn tortilla are just waiting for you to add the cilantro, chopped onions and lime. That's actually a really good idea so that the cilantro doesn't get super wilted during transit. Come to think of it, several of the other tacos were naked as well. Plenty of onions and cilantro with slices of lime were provided. Overall, good Mexican food...loved that the street tacos lived up to their name and were not Americanized with gloppy cheese, sour cream and guacamole. That said, there are other options which do include all off that stuff if you swing that way.

Traveling through the area, found this on Yelp. Decided to give it a try, excellent food, large portions. Authentic Mexican. Great find! Highly Recommend! George, West liberty Kentucky

I’ve been here twice and had amazing food both times. Prices are reasonable, portions are large, and the food is just delicious. Friendly, efficient service. I wish I lived closer to Coatesville!

The best! My friends who are from Mexico and grew up with food cooked with love from mom like this place. Delicious, never had anything I didn't like, friendly servers. Nice little grocery store next door that has all the things you need to make some good mexican food at home (Like tamales)!

Authentic Mexican Food: tried the shrimp taco and enchiladas with a verde sauce. Very flavorful. Will definitely return.

Really good food, a bit pricey, but for the amount of food you get it is pretty reasonable. I'm pretty new but of all the places I've ate here, this is some of the best in the area.
