Getting disappointed use to be when you got a shifter u got chips with it then it dropped down to 4 or 5 chips then down to none for over 11$ for a shifter u should at least get chips

Great service, big menu and decent prices. I'd say this is a hidden gem. Friendly employees. Perfect for takeout and you can order online. Lots of seating inside with a few tables outside. Quiet atmosphere. Street parking. I'd recommend this place for a good lunch!

We visited this little deli a few weeks back and 1/10 do not recommend. While the sandwiches are good, (they must go through the shifter meat faster and it doesn't have a chance to go bad)the luncheon meat that I had sliced to bring home was slimey and smelled off, it went straight to the trash. I spoke with someone who had previously worked there and was told they change the dates on meats and salads/desserts to further the amount of time they are available to be purchased, I'm just glad I didn't feed it to my family without checking it first. Isn't that a health code violation or something. Shame on this business for that. You're just asking for someone to get sick.

Went in wasn't even acknowledged was the only person there, there were 2 females talking then my man came in 5 minutes after me and was acknowledged so we just left. No biggie.

ADA non-compliant business. I can not tell you anything about the quality of the food because I am an individual with multiple disabilities and have a service dog that alerts me to sounds, and is cross-trained to address PTSD symptoms, among other tasks I won’t discuss here. Because I use a service dog, but said dog is an alerting dog not a mobility or seeing eye dog (though he is strong enough to pull my manual wheelchair if necessary, though I don’t wish to request such of him for his own physical health). The owner refused service claiming that she had some sort of paper from the government that says that service dogs have to be large dogs. Since this is completely inaccurate, and a complete contradiction of the actual text of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the documents on the Department of Justice’s website concerning the implications of ADA with regard to what a business, including a food service establishment can and can’t do and what questions may or may not be asked. There are two questions that may be asked…“Is that a service dog?” & “What does it do for you?” While the owner did not ask those specific questions, when she told me my service dog, “can’t be in here because it is a food establishment,” I voluntarily disclosed that he is my service dog and that he alerts me to various sounds. She insisted that he was too small to work as a service dog and that it wasn’t her rules it was the government. Will be reporting this denial of service, ADA violation the the Department of Justice, as it is that branch of the government who enforces the ADA. Unfortunately, this experience has made it such that it may be a fine place for individuals without disabilities, or people who may have some disabilities, but do not rely on a service dog for assistance in their activities of daily living, but for those who do, there are many good ADA compliant restaurants in Columbia to choose from.

Always visited the store across the street and never have noticed that little deli there tried it out for the first time about a week ago and I must say I will definitely be ordering from there again!! Food was delish
I'm very impressed with roses deli I love their Italian subs and lunch meat. I ordered chocolate strawberries and they were yummy. The staff there are very nice I got my food on time and fresh they do their best having only a few workers and their store is nice and clean and have good quality food I'll definitely will keep coming back.

Everything was fine until my 5 year old autistic son was attracted to a small tree they had with light once she mentioned to get away from it I was already walking towards him to move him away I looked at her to say sorry and she rolled her eyes and not her head at him never again ever ever again why I step foot in that place.

Went for lunch the 1st time today. I ordered a Cuban and my sandwich was missing the key ingredients mustard, PICKLES and the turkey. So that made my Cuban a plain old ham and cheese. We were the only customers at this time, so not busy. Still couldn't get my order made correctly.Update: I went back in a few days later and they made me another sandwich and apologized for making it wrong 1st time.

We really enjoyed the Shifter sandwich here at Rose's Deli. It was just as I remembered when I was young, We would get them at Andy's Grocery store on Second St. made by Caroline.

It's right in my neighborhood so I stop in often to grab lunches for my husband. They have the best sandwiches!! The Cuban delight is my favorore. The chipped turkey and ham on this one in particular is incredible. It's also incredibly thick and the pretzel roll is so soft! I get mine with mayo added! 10/10 I often also get the same man around my age (mid 20s) when I go and hes always polite and helpful!.
