“"Who needs a trip to the ice cream parlor when you have the Outflow Soft Freeze in Confluence, PA? This spectacular natural phenomenon puts soft serve ice cream to shame! It's like nature's way of saying, 'Here, have a taste of winter in the middle of summer!' Forget skiing on the slopes, grab your ice skates and glide on this frozen wonderland. Just be prepared for some slippery shenanigans and ice-induced dance moves. Don't forget to bring your sense of humor along because falling on your frosty bum is inevitable. So lace up those boots and embrace the hilarity that comes with sliding over a soft freeze! #FrostedFun #ConfluenceCoolness"”

“This is my go to bar in the ohiopyle/confluence area. With a decent booze selection, good bar food, and great music this is easily the best bar in the area. The Kevins (Jr and Sr) are welcoming and kind and have a good thing going.”
“This place is truly a find! The food is amazing, and I recommend eating on the porch and looking out at the beautiful river and the gorgeous flowers!Nearby activities: Falling water is not far!”
“The fried pies are the best hand pies I’ve ever had! Never disappointed and always wanting to return. Love it!”
“Absolutely magical - WOW factor and a half! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle this gorgeous farm-scape is the perfect getaway to enjoy delicious ciders and scenery. The beautiful details take this experience to the next level and the owners are some of the kindest people you'll meet! Can't wait to return and recommend! Thank you Trish and Chester for a phenomenal experience!”

“This past Sunday we drove over 4 hrs to meet our daughter at Rustic Joes Coffee house. My daughter was coming from Indiana and we were coming from Delaware. We all had incredible coffee that was made by Mary. Who did an incredible job. We stayed and finished the coffee and purchased more for the ride home. I would recommend Rustic Joes Coffee House to any one that has the pleasure to stop in. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Great experience after a long ride on the GAP. Good food and good service”
“Diverse flavors, big portions, outdoor tables. They can split one scoop into 2 flavors so a good option to try a few flavors if you can't decide. Moosetracks and cherry was great, Superman wasn't that great.”

“Found this little gem while in the area with customers going to fallingwater!! Gotta say the food was very cheap, good quality, and some of the fastest service I've ever gotten. Also great little family place all the workers were super nice and friendly!!! Will definitely go back anytime I'm in the area.”
“Have been wanting to stop and try Bubba's BBQ and today had a chance. We ordered a brisket and pulled pork sandwich with sides of slaw and mac salad. Both were tender and favorable with generous portions on each sandwich. Only disappointment was ribs had already been sold out!!”

“Such a cute little spot with FRESH food. We had the best homemade biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. We also ordered donuts to go, both of which tasted like the just came out of the oven. We had iced coffees and they were so good we ordered another one to go!”
“They took our order quickly. Super friendly and the food was great. Our food came out within 3 minutes of ordering. We had wraps and salads for 5 people. They were all good. Try the bean salad (side) and the fajita wrap.”
“The wife decided to commandeer the majority of the black raspberry ice cream we got here (as I write this she protests: "We *shared* it! We did!"). In her defense it really was that good. I had just made some cherry ice cream at home a week or so prior and it wasn't nearly as excellent, and I'm trying to figure out what sorcery they invoke as they churn this creamy ambrosia. I suspect xanthum gum and a dollop of flavoring, as this ice cream's raspberrosity exploded on the tongue in a firework of comestible delight. Whatever wizardry used by the ice cream company that they sell here, come here and try it - you won't be disappointed. It makes Brewster's, Baskin Robbins, and Cold Stone Creamery look like amateurs.”

“Food was just ok. I got a Buffalo chicken wrap and it didn’t quite hit the spot. But the inside was really cool! Tight quarters with a ton of souvenirs. There’s an ice cream bar inside, and it’s also a convenience store. Feels homey and a great place to start your Ohiopyle adventures.Kid-friendliness: Great for kidsWheelchair accessibility: It is very difficult for wheelchair-bound patrons”

“Stopped in for dinner once we got into town(4/12/24). I got a burger and fries. My son had a grilled cheese and fries. It was amazing. The smoker was going with pork belly in it. (I asked.) Saturday is their opening weekend for white water rafting. They have plans for the whole day with live entertainment. It's definitely worth the stop and definitely stopping again.”

“Very good experience for a McDonald's, store was clean and the bathrooms were decent. I think their milkshake machine was even working though I didn't want a shake while on a road trip. Their drive thru seemed fairly busy and they had the self serve kiosks but were still helpful and willing to take an order at the counter too. Provided condiments and extra napkins when asked and was polite the whole time.”

“Before Curt's was Glisan's. This was/is a truckstop on the National Pike (Rt. 40). There are no "pre-made" baked goods. Their dinner rolls are the size of your head, and their pies (in my opinion) are legendary! The coffee was very nice, and I asked our waitress what they used, her reply was "Maxwell House". I guess the trick is mountain water. Unless you're Anthony Bordain, you'll be more than satisfied with your dinner.”

“An amazing gem in Confluence in a building beautifully restored — great art by regional artists and craft coffee from Commonplace out of Pittsburgh. Can't wait to go back and cozy up by the wood-burning stove.”
