Alright food. Food arrived not all at the same time to the table. Don’t ask for extra spice unless you wanna burn your face off. Not possible to get a beer with your meal was a bit disappointing. Dumplings and starters where the

It's a nice cozy little restaurant. We ordered the drunken noodles and evil jungle princess. Both the dishes were delicious. Lots of vegetarian options. Service was really fast.

This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant. I work in Conshy and we frequent here for their amazing lunch special. Soup/App/Entree that’s 14 bucks! My favorites are the Tom Yum Soup, Thai Dumplings, and Evil Jungle Princess or Drunken Noodles! They have 4 levels of spicy with level 4 being Thai Spicy and that is amazingly good! Spicy but still so flavorful. Everything I have ever gotten has been delicious and fresh and are always willing to accommodate any requests I have. The staff is always pleasant and quick but you don’t feel rushed. I live outside of Conshy and brought my friend this week to try and we both agree it’s worth the 30 minute drive!! Don’t skip the Thai iced tea, that is also delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough.

The place is excellent. Upon arrival, I was greeted and immediately led to a table. Menu is long enough, has all the variety one could need.Service was flawless, and the ambiance was fantastic. My coconut milk soup could have used a bit more flavor. My red curry was absolutely perfect, one of the best ones I've ever had.Value for what I got was perfect, good portions, excellent flavors, and super service.Easy street parking.

Average. I had the green curry and it was pretty bland in my opinion. Beef did not taste appetizing. Wouldn't come back, not bad though, just nothing special.

Chiang Mai in Conshy. Been wanting to try this for years and finally had occasion to be in Conshy at lunchtime on a Saturday. Thai dumplings were delicately fried and STUFFED with a subtle ground pork/shrimp. Dipping sauce was based on THICK soy, far better than the runny stuff that doesn't stick to your food. Wife's red curry (not pictured) was fine but unremarkable. I ordered the Evil Jungle Princess with beef THAI spicy. It didn't match what I get in the D.C. area, but was the closest I've found in the Philly area since Siam Cuisine closed years ago. Veggies were fresh and crisp, the sauce offered a hint of sweetness from caramelization. The beef was lean round and a bit tough, but still chewable. Prices were in line with other Thai in the area. Will def go back.

Disappointing and Inauthentic - Avoid at All CostsI recently visited Chiangmai, the so-called "authentic" Thai restaurant in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, and my experience was nothing short of a culinary disaster. This establishment boasts about offering genuine Thai cuisine, but what I encountered was a far cry from authenticity.First and foremost, the restaurant has decided to make a baffling choice: they no longer serve staple Thai dishes like papaya salad, replacing it with a lackluster cabbage salad. The audacity to substitute such a quintessential dish speaks volumes about their disregard for genuine Thai flavors and their customers' expectations. As I delved into the menu, I couldn't help but notice the subpar quality of ingredients and flavors. Their curries, which should burst with the rich and aromatic spices of Thailand, were devoid of any true Thai essence. It's as if they've never tasted authentic Thai cuisine themselves. However, the absolute nadir of my meal was the rice. I've never encountered rice of such abysmal quality. It looked and tasted like it had been languishing since dawn. The fact that they serve this dismal excuse for rice reflects their utter lack of concern for the basics of a decent meal. When I mustered the courage to voice my concerns to the staff, I was met with a dismissive attitude that bordered on insolence. I was told that Chiangmai is not a "fine dining" establishment and that their lackluster food was to be expected. Excuse me? This has nothing to do with fine dining; it's about providing the customers with the authentic experience they were promised. To anyone who appreciates and craves real, authentic Thai cuisine, I implore you to steer clear of Chiangmai. Your taste buds deserve better than this insulting excuse for a restaurant. There are numerous other options in the same price range that will actually deliver the Thai flavors and experience you seek. Chiangmai deserves zero stars for its complete disregard for its customers. Save yourself the disappointment and explore better alternatives.
