“I don't go here often because it's crazy small and my anxiety sky rockets, but the wings, chicken salad and French fries are really good here! Sorry I don't have much more to say. That's all I normally get there the staff is very nice as well. Never rude! I think it's really cool they have so many signs with quotes on them and home decor you can buy as well! Along with sweatshirts and t-shirts!“

“What a hidden gem! Stopped for dinner yesterday. Will say that it is truly a diamond in the rough! Owners were super friendly,super nice and super food! Filet was awesome, my girls ribs were tender and juicy! The owner was very nice and enjoyed our conversation! His wife is the cook and she asked several times how our meal was. I can’t recommend it enough!“

Also, read the menu item descriptions—I accidentally ordered a burger that was almost 1lb of beef and it was so good I ate the whole thing! “We were determined to find some authentic local food on our drive from Buffalo to Washington, DC. Glad we stopped here. Although it feels more like a bar than a restaurant, we were pretty happy overall with the food and service. Everyone was friendly and the burgers were good. There were a few locals from town having a drink at the bar. Not much else to do in this sleepy town, so we headed back to the car for the long drive home.“

“Great place to go for social interaction and the food is pretty good for bar food. Don’t expect any fast service because they do not have a deep fryer. But if you like hanging out with friends and listening to music, this is the place to go.“

“We came here on the recommendation of our B&B and were not disappointed. We tried the bruschetta, the bread was really food, grilled nicely and came with lots of tomato and basil. There was one problem with it, the bread was cut too narrow to hold much of the tomato. Our meals came with fresh bread ( which was very fresh) and a side salad. We got Caesar, which didn't have anchovies, but had shaved and shredded Parmesan. He ordered the special crab stuffed haddock and chose chips for his side and I had the steak tips with a side of onion rings. The chips were fresh cooked, but a little chewy, and the onion rings were breaded but not made fresh. The Demi glacé for the steak tips came from a bottle. All in all pretty good.“

“Gunners was our hub for a motorcycle trip from Canada for 4 days. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable on things to do in the area. Very friendly bunch, and I can't wait to go back again next year!The bar / restaurant has a great atmosphere and is a great spot to spend your evenings. The menu was impressive, and I tried a few items over the time I spent there and was happy with everything I had.The Inn was great, too, and had free parking, easy access to rooms, and the restaurant downstairs. Great location within walking distance to a lot of interesting places in town and good hub for driving out to lots of locations nearby.Overall, I am very impressed with Gunners. Highly recommend in all aspects.“

“Small cozy restaurant, the French onion soup is very good, the servers are always very kind. They have a small selection of some craft beers as well. The food selection is very similar to other restaurants in the area, but it's taste is better than most. The environment is fine for lunch or dinner, it's relatively quiet and calm. The chairs are not the best.“
