When someone you love is suffering in the hospital, having your own respite close by so you can visit as often as possible, is invaluable. The staff is proud to offer this hidden gem, and yoy can park & walk to the hospital in 5 minutes. The restaurant is also extremely convenient for all meals. Their classic big breakfast, $8.50, cannot be beat and you cannot finish it either. We will stay here again!
I stayed at the Pine Barn over a 3 month period for work and I hardly ever ventured out for food because the food at their Tavern is incredible! They always have rotating specials and even helped to accommodate some diet restrictions! The staff is so friendly! (special shoutout to Cassie and Jen) you made my time away from more enjoyable. You must try the Peach Cobbler if they have it!

After my appointment at Geisinger, I decided to grab breakfast before heading home. Although it didn't quite match up to the Waffle Shop, the experience was still highly enjoyable. Opting for a Western Omelette, filled with delectable ingredients such as ham, bell pepper, sautéed onion, and sharp cheddar, I made a special request for Swiss cheese instead.
