Place is amazing. Very nice interior where rustic meets high end. Plenty of parking. Fresh home made pasta. Service was great. Dinner was done in a flash and on our table. Recommend chicken parm.

I have eaten here numerous times but this is the first time that I was not satisfied. It was my wife’s birthday and I reserved a table for ten. Usually when we have large parties we are upstairs but I believe this night they had it reserved for a private event. The table we had was in a tight corner where the server had to pass things down. Also, when my party arrived it was over ten minutes before we got a server, and this was only after we asked another server where our server was. There was also a drink issue that I will not get into. The food was just above average. I hope that this was just a bad night for the restaurant. I do plan on eating there again.

As a Downingtown local, Anthony’s is a staple go to spot! The food is always great and there’s a good amount of options on the menu. On the weekends at peak times the service can slow a little and atmosphere has been iffy once or twice as tables are moved around and finagled to make room for more patrons. Both totally understandable. Would recommend a reservation if going for dinner on a weekend for sure!

Lovely little family owned establishment in my hometown! The food is handmade and yummy. The staff are friendly and kind. Knowledgeable of the menu. The decor is beautiful. Wonderful place to grab a bite overall!Pictured is linguine with rose sauce. My suggestion is any of their pasta dishes. If you’re tight this month, they have a build your own pasta for $16.50. The stuffed fig appetizer is also to die for.Sorry I forgot to take a pic before I took a bite- I couldn’t wait! She was wonderful, and offered me a warm welcome.Vegetarian options: There are numerous pasta options that are vegetarian. The ramp walkway to access the restaurant is slightly uphill. The parking lot is a fair distance from the front door. Ideally, make sure there is someone able bodied to wheel the person up to the door. There is one bathroom that can be accessed via wheelchair, as there other one is too small for transport in and out of a chair. The tables themselves may be too low for wheelchair users.

Love it here! And recommend to friends and family all the time. Their entrance area is loud and confusing as they have pick up orders ready- they do a lot of take out business and usually a line of diners waiting to be seated. Make reservations! Outdoor space is lovely. Food is very good, fresh pasta, seafood, chicken Parmesan. Salads are unremarkable usually skip as I prefer a dressed salad with a homemade dressing but they will offer to pack it up to take home. Shrimp scampi dip and burrata are "chef's kiss" delicious!! Full bar and wine selection available not sure why you would want BYOB as one reviewer suggested. Very happy to have a more upscale casual dining option available locally.

This is the BEST italian place in the area!! They provide a plethora of handmade pasta options with the FRESHEST ingredients +soooo much more. Most importantly, they have AFFORDABLE PRICES for an italian restaurant!! I find it ridiculous that most restaurants charge $22 for a plate of spaghetti and meatballs and this place is NOT that! Don't waste your gas and money driving into West Chester to go to Limoncello's or Mercato because you don't get NEARLY as much food, the prices are INSANE (for pasta that's mid), and there aren't nearly as many options! I've been to Anthony's in Downingtown twice and the first time I got veal parmigiana, and the second time I got the ricotta arabarrata burrata and both dishes were beyond 10/10. Go spend your money here, you won't regret it
