I was there on a Saturday morning. Obviously there was not enough servers on duty. I waited at the hostess stand for a good 12 minutes before anyone arrived. When I was seated, I was served at a reasonable amount of time. But noticed that there was only one waitress on duty. I guess what aggravated me was there was two people in the store section standing around doing hardly nothing. The hostess was helping the server, but I think other people should’ve helped her out a little bit more too. The food was OK. I’ve had the same dish several times before and it tasted better.

Unfortunately the chicken pot pie had no chicken and very little veggies other than potatoes. Service was very good. She couldn't be more attentive and kept the sweet tea flowing. Fried Catfish was tasty.

First time to this Cracker Barrel in Downingtown and would return. Great server only slightly offset by really poor people skills in the check out gal! Her name was Patience and she was misnamed!! Oh my, hopefully she regains a happy attitude before long.Food was decent, especially the pancakes!Fun stuff in the gift shop, as usual! Clean restrooms, a bonus.
Excellent idea, Free Eclipse pancakes with any entree order. Ordered an egg breakfast and finished up with flapjacks. Also Love your fish fry on Fridays during Lent.Parking: Easy access to restaurant.

After waiting to be seated for 5 minutes, the rude host seated me. After waiting at the absolutely filthy table, for 15 minutes the waitress showed up to say she’d be with me soon. 10 minutes after that I left. Really dirty and unfriendly atmosphere. Can’t imagine the food would have been very good. Actually glad I didn’t get served.
