“This place has gotten much better since the last time we tried it a few years ago. I had the shredded pork with garlic sauce. The pork wasn't really "shredded" as such - instead it was just big strips, but it was flavorful and spicy. The hot and sour soup was great. My husband got the General Tso's Chicken, which he really liked and said was the best in our area for delivery. We'll be getting delivery from here again for sure.“

“For fast food-style Chinese, it is very good. We've ordered for years and liked almost everything we get. We did not care for their version of Hot & Sour Soup. The two reasons I give 4 not 5 stars is that times given re pickup or delivery are almost always off, I don't leave the house to pick up the food until the time that they said my order would be ready. I drive there. Then I still wait 10-15 minutes. Of course, if they get the order ready on time, it sits because I've been trained to add 10-20 minutes to what they tell me. On busy nights it can be much longer than that. The second concern is that orders are often missing the "extras". Our last two orders with combinations lacked the egg rolls,, for example.“

“Delicious! I really enjoyed the general tso’s with broccoli, the chili oil is a nice addition as well to the dish with white rice. I lived up in New Jersey for a long time and I’ve noticed that Chinese food wasn’t very good in the Philadelphia area when I was living there recently. Very happy. “For the second year in a row, we hosted our family reunion dinner for 30 people in the China Wok's lovely event room on a Saturday evening. Everything was perfect due to owner Lin's attention to detail. She met in advance with me to plan the menu, taking into consideration our budget, dietary preferences, and the mixed age group of 2 months to 97 years. “This is a great stop if you want a flavor journey. We ordered the duck bao buns, crab and pork soup dumplings, and the Dan dan noodles and we loved it all. The service was great, despite being fairly packed and us not having a reservation they were able to seat us within 10 minutes (honestly fast for how busy they were). I can't say enough nice things about Dan Dan and am looking forward to going back!“

“The best place for dim sum in Northeast Philly according to us locals. They open 9:30am for dim sum in the push carts however the kitchen doesn't open until 11am for specially requested dishes. Tax is always included. Unfortunately, the bathroom to my several experience always runs cold water for washing hands :( .“

“I called them if I can pay by cash when they deliver and they were very informative and nice about it. They close at 11:30 at the time of ordering and I ordered at 11:00 and they came around 11:40, they were not mad about it at all and the food was sooooo Delious. 2 fried rice with orange chicken and god was that chicken so good“

I am 29 now and I’ve RARELYYYY ever have a problem.They know my number and house when I call and they know my favorite order and they ALWAYS make sure my step dad gets NO PEAS in his meals.I’ve only ever witness them mess up the no pea thing once. The outside of this Chinese Take Away is very noticeable with its bright colors. The order area is encased in bulletproof glass because of the sketchy area. I ordered Happy Family and Wonton Soup; both of which were flavorful and not greasy. The only downside that I see to this place is the lack of acceptance of credit cards. There are atms inside, but with all the sketchy people around, I wouldn't risky using the atm inside. Arrive with cash ready!“
