This was our first time there. My boys celebrated their 9th birthday there with a few friends and they had a ball. The food, music, price and the staff was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be going again.

Not a good place to celebrate anything. We came to celebrate an adult birthday and this place doesn’t allow you to bring in a birthday cake. It’s a pretty dingy and very cold place anyway.

First time here for a birthday party. The music selection was nice however the lanes kept needing to be reset and the men's room was horrible there was a constant smell no wonder why they have a sign that says keep door closed aside from privacy.

First off there was a giant roach on the floor the score board was calculating the wrong score if you bowl a strike it gives you 8 also the floors were horrible no grease the house balls were Cracked and chipped I recommend that this place be re-done. never again. And the place was empty it was just two families there won't be back ever...

Went with my family and we had so much fun! It got a little crowded even on an early Saturday- went when they opened and i'm glad I did bc it filled up quick. The kid that was behind the counter was very nice to my son and kept giving him the little thing they use to roll the ball easier and helping him.... the place itself is kinda cool i remember going there as a teen hanging out in the late 90s and it really hasn't changed much at all. Vending machines with candy and soda/ chips in the back as well as wheelchair accessible bathrooms and also had some arcade games and a claw machine. Def will be back!

This place went down hill they still have good customer service but the new wave of people and customers that come from Philly have ruined it
Good prices and friendly staff! We came here after a bad experience at Wynnewood Lanes. World of difference between the two venues!

Playhouse Lanes is a quaint little bowling alley in Drexel Hill. It has a more old school style as in there is no giant arcade or large food menu. The main focus here is the bowling alley. They have a nice variety of balls for everyone and even have 6lb balls for children upon request. The only problem I had with the bowling is that the bumpers only have a yes or no option, meaning we had to have them on for everyone because our child needed them and they couldn’t turn them off for individual people. They have a “No outside food or drink” policy, but if you are hungry there’s a pizza shop across the street and if you order the food it will be delivered to the bowling alley for you. There is a small bar in the back area for drinks as well as a few vending machines. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because of the bumpers and because they did not have air conditioning so we got really hot especially with moving around while bowling. They have an industrial fan but it’s not doing enough. I wouldn’t have a problem returning in the fall/spring when it isn’t as hot outside for a nice family outing.

The lanes were very dirty and took a chunk out of my brand new ball. Hopefully, they remedy this. However, they have instant replay, and I enjoyed that very much. I also liked the Ami-Jukebox app. I was able to play music I wanted to hear, and that was nice.
