Stopped by on Sunday afternoon. Hubby had the wings(Cajun)and a side salad. I opted for the cheeseburger which hands down was homemade and the best burger I have had out in a long time. Cooked to perfection. We shared some onion rings. They were darn good. Shared a piece of coconut cream pie. The BEST!!! Our server was Betty A seasoned pro.So glad we stopped in. We will definitely go back and enjoy the entire river area.

Attended the Perry County Chamber of Commerce Business Women's Luncheon on 3/8/24. First time ever here. Parking on both sides of building. Event was held in a small banquet room with doors for privacy. A covered wooden deck was off the banquet room. Some updates (like the barn doors), but still a little dated.Food was fresh. Sandwich, soup, & chicken salad options plus chocolate cake, peanut butter pie, & coconut creme pie for dessert. Ice tea was homemade & hot tea gave you flavored tea bag options.Small gift shop area, a traditional lunch counter, and both booth & table options. There was also another dining room off of the other side of the establishment.The menu had the history of the restaurant, and pictures of the original owners are in the foyer.

Food wasn't as good as expected. The wings lacked sauce, the ham steak had a cinnamon taste, and the Lasgana was very sweet. The staff was very nice, has a cute shop, very clean bathroom.

Stopped on the way to Virginia with my Brother. Waitress was nice and let us in before it was open. Bathrooms were clean, place was clean and food was good. Recommend stopping in.
