Welcome to my new addiction:). Lovely little bakery with many offerings including cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pies and quiches. I has the buttery and sweet bunker hills but will have to go back for the bear claws and the pecan bar. Parking is available. The place is jammed packed on a Friday morning but it’s worth the wait!

The quiche is the best, and the chocolate and peanut butter muffins are worthy of a trip on their own. Love that you can preorder the night before on their website.

The best part of visiting my hometown, coming to get some Mrs Groves!! The fruit bear claws are chefs kiss. The workers are always the sweetest everytime I go in. So glad you were able to reopen.

I've enjoyed Mrs. Groves since I was a little girl and the Bakery was on 4th Street in Altoona. Everything is absolutely delicious! My favorite are the raspberry sticky buns. Everyone is so kind as well!
Same favorites as the old owners downtown. Same quality. Wish it was a little closer to Altoona center, but still well worth the ride

Best cinnamon buns in the area.

Great selection , even better prices, and flawlessly carrying on the previous owners legacy. I had the stickies, bunker hills, bear claws, apple cookies, raisin cookies, and donuts. All were phenomenal but the peanut butter icing is my favorite = i smear it on everything.
