Wonderful dining atmosphere. Very professional and attentive staff. Food presentation was very nice. Only slight negative was their tomato sauce was a little bland but this did not overshadow the entire very positive dining experience.

My group of 4 were the only ones in the restaurant this afternoon. However, there was a party upstairs. It took at least 15 minutes for them to bring bread to the table. It took at least another 15 minutes to get our salads. When the entrees arrived, none of them were hot. Nothing about the food was authentic Italian. Also the food is overpriced. I’d never go back there.

First class upscale restaurant, fresh flowers at the table, beautifully decorated, all went along with the quality of the food which both very carefully prepared.......was served in generous portions....they have the nerve to have a $100 rib......my first at that price level......but if you are on a budget be sure to to peruse the two sides of the same menu where the prices are much much lower and affordable.......but the restaurant is certainly good enough....and if I ever had the money.....it would be My first choice for my first $100 entree.

Unfortunately this used to be one of our favorite dinner places. The last two times we (Jan & Feb) were disappointed. They seem to be under staffed. Service staff seems overwhelmed. They try to keep up, but fall short. Food quality also seems to have gone down. We waited a hour between appetizers and entrees and they were not as good as expected. Vegetables were under cooked and just warm. We spent two and a half hours for a fair meal. We will wait a month or two before a revisit and hop they get their act back together.

I've never been here before, but tried it for a business dinner. The service was really good and the food was decent. I think the devil in the details was lost on a few things, though this was a Friday evening they had a singer while we are eating, began singing in the bar which bled over very loudly into our dining room, this seems like a neighborhood joint and that's fine. It's trying to be two different things audiences one woman who came in to eat, actually turned around and asked for a different table because of the noise I think if you're gonna have a person singing in the bar portion. It should be after 9 o'clock at night. Let the diners enjoy a good meal and a good glass of wine and conversation and not have to compete with the bar which frankly only had maybe six people in it most, clearly the money was being made in the dining room that night and the bar, but they failed to cater to the diners.

Got seated upstairs in a 52 degree room . Also asked for no sauce on entree and it came smothered in it . Oil and garlic on veggies overwhelmed . But most importantly entree was supposed to be plain and very upset it was not . Awful service . Terrible waste of a good evening.

Put us upstairs and it was freezing. We had to ask for the heat to be turned on and it was still cold when we left. We saw our server every 20 minutes. It took 1:30 to get our dinner. The stuff mushroom appetizer at most good. Seabass was good but served cold along with the potato and vegetables. Chicken with portobello and peppers was not good. The rigatoni bolognese was hot and very good.

We sat at the bar, which ended up being a very bad decision. A waitress ended up taking our drink order, because the bartender was too busy. We ended up waiting for over 30 minutes, hoping he would take our order, and I finally asked the hostess if she would send a waitress over to take the order. Thankfully, Marcella was wonderful, and came over right away. We received our order over 30 minutes later. The pasta bolognese was way overcooked, and the sauce was bland. The homemade cavatelli was so dense, that it tasted like gnocchi (also overcooked). The filet oscar special was ordered rare, and came out as just the standard filet from the menu, and was cooked medium well. We told the waitress, who rectified the order promptly, but even then, there was no sauce on the filet. We couldn't even send back the pastas, as it was impossible to get anyone's attention. Lastly, the bartender disappeared for at least 30 minutes, even though the bar was busy, and sat at a table with friends that had come in. This restaurant used to be so good, but our past 2 visits have proven to be our last. With so many Italian choices in the Scranton area, you can make a better choice than this.

It was a Wednesday night and we didn't plan ahead for cooking dinner at home. We were in the mood for burgers at 3 Jacks in Dunmore, but they were PACKED so we had to find another option. We were driving past Angelo's and decided to give it a try. We were very under dressed for this establishment but our attire didn't matter and we were seated right away, there were not many customers. I took that as a bad sign, but we were starving and decided to take our chance on a pricier, more formal meal. The atmosphere is your traditional upper-scale Italian restaurant, fabric table cloths and napkins, mood lighting, etc. It would be perfect for a formal date night! Our waitress was very friendly and we were seated near the kitchen door so I could see how some of the staff was operating throughout the night, they seemed to be a well-oiled machine. Our food was phenomenal. We certainly made the right decision stopping in here. The portions were generous, the food was fresh, cooked well, and full of flavor. Would we return? Absolutely, I want to bring the rest of my family here for a special occasion someday. People of Dunmore and NEPA overall, if you're in the mood for a hearty Italian dinner, don't sleep on this location!

Really good food, large portions, and its a nice place. I grew up nearby, but just made my first visit. I'm sorry it took me so long. Could use a few more vegetarian options.
