Coffee was good. Breakfast burrito was okay. The Y-Pal was not good, chicken ‘cutlet’ was a chicken tender that was definitely frozen. It looked like the chicken tenders sold at Giant. Wasn’t a fan of the Dutch baby. Cupcake was dense, it was okay. I wanted everything to taste as good as it looked but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. Disappointed.

This place was cool and fresh for a minute. Always felt hella uppity but some menu items were decent and refreshing. Meh. The service just sucks.I went in to enjoy a breakfast on a pleasantly UN-CROWDED day. I was left to seat myself with ZERO acknowledgement. Then I sat at a table where I was not acknowledged (staff everywhere) . Then after 7 minutes of mildly busy staff not acknowledging my presence, I looked longingly around at all of them to see if I could catch any eye contact. No avail. So I stand up and grab my coat and make sure to make it a rather large gesture. No acknowledgment. Other than from the other patrons there who were looking rather surprised that I had not been tended to at all even though there were only a few diners.Food is fair to mid.Staff AND management is seriously lacking.Cute spot tho ??

The food here is delicious! When they first opened pre-COVID the staff were absolutely delightful. More recently I've found the service to be hit or miss. It could also be that I am a higher needs customer now (can't do Gluten) and my frustration has been primarily around staff not providing accurate info about dishes or in one case bringing a dish with pita chips after I specifically asked for them to be removed. So I guess I would say you're probably fine unless you have food allergies.

First off, the Henry's home fries are sensational! Ambiance was bright and clean. I will qualify my next statements with the fact that we didn't try any of the pastries. That being said we didn't return even though we were in Scranton a week later. Not anything terrible, just underwhelming. My husband's omelette was fine but lacked flavor as did my frittatas, which were quite overcooked. Cappuccino was mediocre. Service was fine though not very attentive. The only thing that would bring me back is the amazing home fries, seriously so good!

Clean, friendly, eye popping place. Love almost everything. Bakery and breakfast, and coffee, are all very good. Would like to see a bit more flavor intensity in everything but I'm being picky.

I have never written a review before let alone a poor one, but think people should know about the most recent experience here. The food is great but the service was horrible and this is not the first time.We arrived and were seated right away, it seemed pretty busy but not as bad as I have seen it before on a weekend. We waited about 10 minutes before our server came to acknowledge us and take our drink order, then another 15 before our food order was even taken. I completely understand being busy as I was a server for years in a place similar to Henry’s, but this was way different. From the time we sat down to the time we got our food, it was almost an hour and a half, we had already been sitting there an hour when our server finally acknowledged the long wait and said that the kitchen was short staffed. I get it, but once the table next to us got their food before us, after sitting about 20-25 minutes after we had already been there. It was only two of us, we weren’t even a big party. We watched as three additional tables got their food before us and already left. When we finally got our food and I mentioned the long wait to our server, he didn’t say much just I know and I think sorry. We weren’t even asked if we needed anything else when the food came, just asked if we wanted the bill.We will not be back to Henry’s. I do like supporting small businesses in the area but this kind of service and experience for breakfast is insane. It is not inexpensive here so I would expect a higher level of service. It seems if you know the people, you’ll get served right away, otherwise you’ll wait.

Ate at Henry's on Clay this week. Had a chicken salad sandwich on a roll. It was very tasty. Home fries were also very flavorful

It was my first time and instantly fell in love!! Service was a little slow, but the food made up for it. The cupcakes I got from the bakery were delicious, and my boyfriend loved the dunkaroos!!
