Food poor quality & Overpriced. I wish I could say differently being half Pueto Rican.For example;1. The food was very underseasoned, lacking main components of Latin cuisine.2. The empanadas were stale and meat very dry inside.3. The alcapurrias were very greasy, flat (like a pancake) & had about a teaspoon of moat inside.4. The servings portions for large were small.5. The desserts (I purchased some of each, were somewhat hard for custard based desserts and the tres leeches didn’t taste as it normally would but instead was more like a crumb cake would taste, with plenty of Cinnabon I believe.6. The waitress was super friendly but wiped the table behind me down with straight CONCENTRATED FABULOSO ch Michal floral cleanser that went up my nose and in my mouth while I ate and what a headache I got.7. I asked doe containers and my decided to take it all to go.8. I recommend to take the ride up to Tannersville and eat at El Rincón Caribe.9. PS, I left a great tip regardless, because she showed up with a smile!

Hands down the best Latin food in the Poconos. We had the shrimp mofongo w garlic sauce, pernil, chicken stew, empanadas and ceviche. Everything was on point. Perfectly seasoned and the portions were generous. I contemplated going back the next day to try more, but the sheer embarrassment of showing up 2 days in a row was too much. Nevertheless, we will definitely be going back soon to try some of their other dishes.

The service was great. Attentive and polite staff. Great food, I especially loved the flan,The sweet plantains and the coconut soda. They have some really good spicy green hot sauce which really elevates the empanadas!Nice chill atmosphere and plentiful seatingJust had a great breakfast here! I’ve passed it so many times wondering when it would open and I guess my timing was just off ? it’s been open for business this whole time! If you’re looking for a nice spot to eat in the Poconos, pop by east stroudsburg and check it out. I look forward to returning and trying their specials!
Great food and many options. Ordered from the buffet line. Choice of meat, rice, and beans. Wow! Enough for lunch with plenty left to take home. I did think the pork and yellow rice were both a bit too salty for my taste. Next time I’ll try the roasted chicken and white rice and hope it’s not so salty. Ordered some Empanadas to go! They were very good.
