Had lunch today at CJT with my friend and our kids. The food was horrible! I never come on here and complain about restraunts, it has to be really bad for me to do this, but I thought I'd give a warning. I should have known by how empty they were and how soon the food came . We couldn't eat more than a couple bites. The chicken pad thai had a strange unpleasant fishy smell and rubbery things in it which maybe were tofu? The sesame chicken tasted horrible like it was cooked in old burnt oil, and the fried rice was mushy and bland. I had high hopes because of the good reviews, but I guess I should have read more. Never again!

Ordered a plate of sesame chicken took one bite and realized the chicken didn't taste good. Told the waitress that I no longer wanted the chicken but they still wanted me to pay. This place use to have great food and service. It's a shame because I use to eat here alot but not any more, save your money

This place is no good, I ordered sesame chicken. The edges of the chicken were hard the white rice was like paste. This place has really gone downhill ever since new owners they forget stuff you have to call them back and they show up an hour later with the stuff they forgot they are not sufficient God for bid you ask him what’s wrong never again happy wok is a lot better on Easton Avenue next to Sicilies pizza .

I'm surprised by all the bad reviews, personally I've been here a few times and enjoyed it. I order the hot pot and for the price and ALL YOU CAN EAT you can't go wrong. The food is fresh. My daughter loves it.

Hadn't been there in a while, but always liked it. Went in to order takeout. A guy and a kid were behind the counter. I asked if they had chow fun noodles that day. (They sometimes run out.) Neither of them seemed to know what I was talking about. After pointing it out on the menu, I managed to order it. Asked for chicken with black bean sauce. (This had been one attraction of the place. A lot of the local places don't have chow fun or black bean sauce on the printed menu, though most will make it if you ask.) The kid stared at the register for a while, then said, "Chicken with garlic sauce?" At that point, I asked my wife if we should leave. She wanted to stick it out, so she gave them the rest of our order while I enjoyed the weather in the parking lot. I asked around at the mall and heard the owners had sold and moved back to NY. The food was not great. Hot and sour soup was okay. (Best in the Valley is from Asia on Susquehanna St.) Chicken had little taste. Chow fun noodles were old and mushy. Not going back.

The most disappointing restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life. They don’t even deserve a star.1.) They put scorching hot soup in front of a 2 year old which almost caused him to spill hot soup on himself.2.) service is absolutely terrible.3.)Half of our order came out. They couldn’t even handle to get a side of white rice out4.) good luck getting silverware or straws in under 30 min.5.) Expect to receive warm raw fish when you order sushi from here.6.) Watch for waitress and she uses her bare hands to put your unwrapped straws on the unclean table.7.) On top of it all, don’t be surprised to get ant bites on your hand and arms while sitting at the table.Overall, this place is absolutely disgusting and should be shut down

Used to order take out from here very often. Ordered tonight for the first time since it was taken over by new owners. Definitely will not be returning. They forgot a part of my order, and when I called the number on Google, it brought me to a 3rd party who was of no help, other than eventually giving me the direct number to the restaurant. Went back to pick up the food that they forgot, and it was not ready. There was a 15 minute difference between my phone call and arriving at the restaurant, more than enough time to make 2 sushi rolls. Ordered brown rice, got white rice. The food and service has gone completely down hill.

I had the most bizarre experience eating at CJT’s in the Birkland Shopping CENTER. We came in to try their Hot Pot. A 50/60 ish Asian waitress began to take take our order. Since this was the first time trying the hot pot we certainly had several questions. In the middle of my ordering the hotpot she walks away and begins to take the order of the next table over. I was extremely embarrassed by the situation. These are not the original proprietors as the restaurant was previously sold to this family within the last few months. They are far from being organized and treat their customers horribly. Also the hotpot stove is not encased or fixed to the floor and this could be an immense safety hazard of being tipped over and spilling hot soup over you or your children. The final insult was that my wife had found a cockroach under our table. This was the worse. We ultimately we walked out the restaurant.

If I could give them no stars I would! Ordered food last night got it home was burnt and tasted days old. Called and told them I would like my money back because , I had to make my family dinner. They wouldnt give me a refund unless I brought the food back!!!! Excuse me. I had told them previously we threw it out. THEY STILL WANTED IT BACK! When we got there with our garbage. He started rooting threw it! NEVER AGAIN!

Was a regular at this restaurant. I heard new management offered a lunch special soup and appetizer very expensive food was not good. Bland and bad quality. Dumplings were chewy chicken was rubbery and there is little bone like things in the wonton filling. Very dissatisfied will not be back. Looking for a new local Asian restaurant

Nice hot pot buffet with a lot of fresh foods: lamb slices, beef slices and tripes and so on. Worth trying!

Nice and clean environment. Good quality food. Shrimp and shiitakes mushroom super fresh! Like the Thai Tom Yim soup base, it’s rich in flavor and warm up whole body especially in this cold weather. Nice to have an authentic Asian hotpot restaurant nearby

Ordered Sunday at 6 pm take out. Not good. Nothing in my “fried” rice. Missing an egg roll. No broccoli in my general tsos chicken. Tasted under cooked. Over priced and disgusting. Never again.
