Firstly, shocked when I saw the online reviews. The staff were extremely friendly, the market offers an atmosphere out of a novel that you love, doesn’t matter which novel, just one that you love. The clam chowder was not what I am use to eating, but it was what I needed in my life. The lobster roll and accompanying sides were perfectly made, reminding me a trip up through Maine. If you go here, you will be pleased. If you don’t like it, you are wrong.5 stars weighted.

I don’t understand the low rating because the cooking’s good. The raw ingredients aren’t that great but it is a landlocked city. They did the best they could with the seafood. The fried oysters weren’t oyster-y enough, which can’t be fixed with any cooking magic, but the breading was light and crispy. The slaw and pickles added much-needed brightness.

We have driven almost an hour each way multiple times a month for Silvershell since they opened. If you expect consistency, this is your place. Great people and always top notch quality. Amazing oysters too!

Delicious made to order fish with hand cut fries. Incredibly fresh and ridiculously tasty. Worth every calorie. And the service was helpful and friendly. Paired my plate with an Octoberfest from Scratch. Delish! Highly recommend.

I ordered calamari and the calamari look like crumbs. They gave me the tentacles and the beginning of the squid the little tips it look like popcorn it was horrible. For the money I paid it was ridiculous! And the hush puppies were so salty !! I don't know if it was a color, race are that's just the way they serve that awful calamari! I advise you to go to 3rd and ferry! Big disappointment! I wish I never tipped them! Stay away! Just awful!

Hands down the best place to eat and buy seafood in Easton. The fishmonger is very helpful and knowledgeable, and so friendly and professional. The chefs cook everything to perfection. We have had lunch/dinner and brunch here, as well as purchased fish and cooked it at home, and it's always amazing. I'm so glad to have them around! Is it a bit pricey? Yes, but that is the cost of insanely pristine fish these days. Treat yourself and enjoy.

I ate here because the line for Mr Lee's was outrageous. I was very pleased with my decision.

We are addicted to this place. Hands down favorite is the green salad with trout they smoke. We love the fried calamari and the crab cakes and often will order and share a platter and salad. Their clam chowder is one of the richest and tastiest I've ever tried. The hush puppies and fries are great too.Service has been exceptional ever since we started eating here about a year ago. The prices are reasonable for the level of quality and freshness of all their options.

I only had the calamari I ordered to go and it didn't took that long as the place was not busy, calamari was excellent the sauce was a win definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu

Good fish, batter not too thick and nice and crisp. Fries needed some work, a bit soggy. Decent coleslaw and nice pickled veggies on the side. A little pricey overall.

Shocked by all the 1 to 3 star reviews based on the price of seafood in a landlocked town. Right next door you can pay almost $20 for a bowl of noodles or come here for a lobster roll. Silver Shell gets a 5 from me based on taste and service.Every time we come to the market we are excited for the adventure, and we always get one foot in the door and know we want Silver Shell first! My kids love the experience of being able to sit and watch the chefs cook and prepare the food. The transparency of being able to see your food cooked in front of you in todays world is something special.I love that they use simple and fresh ingredients that don’t overpower the seafood. You won’t find many places around here using dill the way they do. If you want fried food this is also the place for thick, crisp, batter with flaky tender fish inside! Make sure to order extra fries, whoever is with you will ask you to try one, but they won’t stop at one. Promise.

Bolete is one of our favorite restaurants and we would really like for SSC+K to thrive as well. However, we were visiting nearly weekly spending $70+ each visit on lox and crab cakes to go so we were very surprised when suddenly charged $2.00 for a small portion of remoulade. The clerk was very curt when telling me that it was no longer included. It's not the price that was the issue but her lack of customer service etiquette and her desire to make $2.00 rather than provide a positive customer experience. Most recently, we decided to sit down for a couple of lobster rolls, before purchasing the crab cakes to go. When paying $60.00 for two sandwiches(with tip), one would expect something quite amazing. The lobster 'salad' was quite tasteless and the fries were very salty, hard and oily. The best thing about the meal was the pickled garnish. The rolls were very disappointing and we won't order them again. It was also very awkward to be seated literally a few feet away from the cooks and they never once acknowledged our presence--no greeting, no thanks--nothing. The clerks also seem to lack any customer service training and just seemed to be completely uninterested in their work. They were both on their phones in between assisting customers--not a very sanitary practice. We are big fans of lobster rolls and visit a local restaurant every Sunday solely to have them. The price is 20% less and the roll is overflowing with large chunks of perfectly cooked and seasoned lobster and the fries are delicious. The staff at that restaurant is very engaging and professional--an altogether much more pleasurable experience.

The food looked delicious and I couldn't wait to try it. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't on par with how good the food looked. The onion rings and fish and chips were bland and lacking in flavor. Some of the sides, such as coleslaw and picked vegetables, were just average but they paired well with the oily fried food. There were condiments (ketchup + something original) but the food itself should also have flavor. However, the food's texture was really nice. The crispiness, the crunch... just amazing. If only the food didn't completely rely on the condiments for taste. Food was somewhat pricey, but the owners were really kind and easy to talk to. Overall, I would still be willing to go back and try their food again. My friend had a better experience with the lobster roll. Parking is not the most accessible.
