This is the second time we have been there. It is small inside so you often have to wait for a table. But they have a big Tikki Hut area with a bar so you can get a drink and sit and wait. Generally it is only around 15 minutes. They have a variety of fish dishes. I got the fried cod and scallops. The scallops were very big and done perfectly. I took off the breading (only to save on calories) and they were still amazing. The Cole slaw and the salads were also good. My husband got the broiled seafood skewers which were very good. He ordered onion rings which were amazing. This place is a local favorite because they are consistent in quality and reasonably priced. It's not fancy, but the food is worth the effort.

There is nothing on the menu that accommodates those with food allergies. Smells horrible when you enter the door. Looks unclean too. Avoid at all costs.

Had stuffed cabbage, French onion soup! Absolutely delicious! Menu is loaded with choices. Pastries!!!! SO GOOD!!

Not fancy and not much atmosphere but the coconut shrimp is to die for. The batter mushrooms are incredible. This is such a great local place. We hate to share a review because we want to claim this as a local place.

Had a late lunch and it was excellent portions were large prices were good. The server was excellent, refilled drinks at the right time and was friendly.

Our family has eaten here many times with average service but the food is decent so we typically don’t mind. Today, there was a mix up with our pick up order, causing it to be substantially more expensive than expected. No apology or option to resolve the issue was given. The woman I spoke with simply stated the food was already made and I was expected to pay for what I “ordered”. She blamed me entirely, though I believe it was a mutual misunderstanding that could have easily been avoided. A simple apology for her part in the misunderstanding would have been enough resolution for me, but the only thing she offered was rude behavior. I’m left with such a bitter taste from the poor treatment, we will certainly not return. Two stars because the coconut shrimp is tasty and perhaps the employee we dealt with was just having a bad day.

What a great little restaurant to visit while coming off the beach or a family night out. Their dinners are prepared so well, service and prices are great. The mixed seafood baskets are very good too

Get the burger!! You won’t even believe it!! The clam chowder is great and so are the fried clams (although they aren’t the bellies). The fried shrimp and fried fish platter is huge!

We ordered from Cafe 776 last week. We took it to go as our little pets were in the car. We had fish n chips & a grouper sandwich. The fish was good, maybe too much batter but we found the following interesting. 1. We wanted a Coke to go and was told the owner doesn't buy to go cups. Hmmmm 2. We asked for napkins and were given the last 2 sheets on a paper towel roll. Hmmm 3. We opened the bag and no plastic silverware....dang, I guess the owner doesn't by them either. Hmmmm I know times are tough but...
Always a great experience from the food to the wonderful servers who are pleasant and helpful. Simon’s is an old establishment where most of these deli’s are hard to come by and impossible to imitate

Cafe 776 has been our "go to" place when comfort food is required. The cold wind made our decision where to eat lunch. Fernanda was our server who is always busy, but also courteous, friendly and efficient. Even though most of the tables were full, our orders came out well prepared, hot and perfect. My wife's grill Atlantic cod can't get any better. It sat on top of a large fresh salad. My cheeseburger, grilled medium, had a wonderful char flavor, mixed with the melted American cheese covering the grilled mushrooms and onions. These were accompanied with crispy fries and a dill pickle spear. Neither of us could finish the large, tasty portions. With the holidays almost here, we left Fernanda a generous tip that she thanked us profusely. It was a great time. We'll be back!

Indoor atmosphere is just tables with screened walls so all traffic noise. Fortunately the pricing is not expensive. When we want so grouper or shrimp or fried cod, we will be back.
