We've been here a few times to dine and for weddings. Food is always good, great selection for everyone. My problem on 3/16 was our server was just not paying attention and they were not busy enough to have a problem with coverage. Shyanna was our server, she did come over as we were seated and took our drink and app order. I was disappointed when I asked what was in one of the specials (spinach salad w/bacon dressing) she just answered "I'm sorry, I don't know", so I just ordered a regular salad. If she did not know, there is nothing wrong with saying, "let me find out, this is new" or if she's new, let us know that too. The potatoes that came out with my steak were wrong but I just ate them anyway. I am assuming she forgot to put my wife's order in because it was the exact same as my daughter and when the food runner came out, he said hers would be just a few minutes. I get aggravated when we go to eat and no everyone gets their food at the same time. The only high point was the food runner, he was more attentive than our server. When my wife asked for another drink, it sat on the bar for almost 10 minutes before she brought it over. At that time we asked her for two waters, she said ok and it never came. After 10 minutes, we asked the food runner and he went to the bar and got it for us right away. At the end the other server had to pick up our payment because it again was a long wait. I think she saw on our face we were aggravated so she handled us. I'm disappointed because we chose this location for a quiet atmosphere and good food of which we did get but it's too expensive for this poor service. I do not like leaving negative reviews but this wasn't what we expected. Everyone around our server picked up her slack and we aren't hard to please, my wife grew up in this business so we understand when someone has multiple tables or is very busy. Again, food was good, drinks on point and my steak was cooked perfect and what really saved me from getting upset was the food runner, he went above and beyond.

It was a great experience but there was some sort of party downstairs and the noise was so loud we couldn't hear each other. And they kept standing outside the restaurant doors yelling belligerently to one another so that was a bummer. Just didn't understand why they couldn't close the restaurant doors? But our server was very kind and pleasant. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We had our wedding at the view at Morgan hill and it was the best decision we ever made. The venue was absolutely breathtaking the day of , and everyone who helped out during the day/night were so amazing. Lisa was a fantastic wedding coordinator, incredibly organized, professional, and very clearly cared about the quality of the work. Summer was an incredible bridal attendant and was so fun to be around during the whole day.

Such a disappointing dinner tonight. 3 of us showed up for dinner on a Friday night at 5:30pm. We were the only ones in there, in addition to 5 staff members hanging around the front desk. Eventually a few other tables filled up and there were 4 people at the bar when we left at 7:30pm.We ordered a few apps and cocktails to start off. When my sister got just about done with her "Special" New England Clam Chowder in a Sourdough Bread bowl, she found a hair in it. We bought it to our servers attention - and showed her the hair - and told her to please tell a Manager. I'm assuming a Manager was not on duty because no one ever came over to apologize for such a disgusting and unsanitary issue. Or maybe there was a Manager there and they just didn't care. And the best part is that we were still charged $12 for a soup bowl with a hair in it!Our 3 entrees were fine. The Meatloaf platter was very good; the Fish and Chips were ok -- the Fish was nice and flaky, but the fries were soggy from being sprinkled with vinegar (I'm assuming) in the kitchen; the Cranberry Chicken was one chicken cutlet on the dish filled with about 8 too many red skin potatoes. 2 of the entrees were served with the skinniest little Asparagus that I have ever seen - certainly not restaurant quality. We then ordered the "Special" Plum Shortbread for dessert. While the cooked plums were good, the shortbread was hard as a rock. Most likely an old piece of shortbread that they popped in the microwave to heat up. Unfortunately it was hard as a rock and totatlly unedible.Considering no one ever apologized for the hair in the appetizer course, we didn't even both to complain about the lousy dessert. So for what was once a really nice, enjoyable restaurant with good food and great service, seems to have gone totally downhill. And we thought that our last visit there was just an "off" night because it took us over an hour to get our entrees served due to the server forgetting to put in our order. I guess this is the new normal at The View. Very unfortunate.

(Married here 10/7/2023)I am left beyond words to describe how incredible this venue is. Let’s start from the beginning, my then-fiancé booked a tour for the venue and we instantly fell in love with it. The scenic views, the well-lot modern ball room, the whole nine-yards. The price point provided was incredibly fair given the area, so we instantly booked on the spot and then began to plan the wedding. They provided a tasting 10 months prior to help us on our plated meal choices, which was fabulous. A full meal, with all the choices and sides as well as apps. Then, came the months leading up. I was emailing Shannon weekly with seemingly silly questions and she answered everything with speed and helpfulness. I then was passed off to Lisa, the wedding coordinator. She was FANTASTIC from the moment of us meeting and on. She is so thoughtful, thorough, and kind. Any of our hiccups were handled with grace and accuracy so we could focus on the wedding itself. Then came the wedding day. I arrive and Lisa was setting up our decor EXACTLY how I had pictured it and triple-checked with me should she had any questions. The venue provided a full breakfast and lunch for me and my bridal party.I then was introduced to Summer, my bridal attendant. She was very sweet and lovely from the start. She would pop in to make sure I was drinking water and if I needed help with anything. It was clear that she had one focus that day - me. Which was SO incredible. She fluffed my dress, got us golf carts last minute when the sun started to shine, bustled my dress and help my bouquet off and on all day. She really was a ray of sunshine.TLDR: if you’re considering hosting a wedding here, DO IT. I regret nothing and I am so so so over the moon with everyone here. They made my dream come true ❤️(Photos will be added later, but I just wanted to get this out ASAP so everyone can see how great this venue is)

The setting is absolutely lovely and scenic. The menu is limited, but adequate. Service was excellent. We arrived there during a non-busy time, 1 pm for lunch. We stayed and talked at the table for a few hours and no one rushed us to leave. A wedding party arrived later in the afternoon, and golfers started caming in for drinks/dinner as well. Would definitely go back again!

It was disappointing. I had eaten there before and it was spectacular. The tuna tar-tar was what I was looking forward to. I ordered it and it was 4 slices of dried tuna with very large fried wontons and arugula. Tar-tar is similar to a salsa, not sashimi. Strike one. The garden salad? I don't remember what they called it, but I ordered it with grilled chicken. The salad was good, and there was a lot of it. The chicken was dry and hard to cut. Disappointing. I would go back to try again. Sometimes it's just a bad food day. Love the location and the views are spectacular.

I had a 5 pm reservation. the place was somewhat empty. The menu wasn't extensive. So, when told they were out of Items from there menu left a bad taste in one's mouth literally. The fish and fries I ended up ordering smelled awful. My recommendation is eat somewhere else and go there for the view.
