Not good. Chips were way over done, the salsa tasted like Marinara sauce and the “queso” is literally American cheese melted. My burrito was so hard at the bottom (not sure from being in the styrofoam container or what) but mute knife couldn’t even cut through it. Wouldn’t recommend this at all.

I used to love this place. Nothing like it nearby and you could count on a good experience, especially dining on the patio in the summer. I believe they must have stopped offering table service during Covid? My last experience wasn’t great. We sat at a table for awhile until we realized we needed to order at the counter. Food was ok; served in styrofoam takeout. Lunch specials ring up higher priced than advertised.

Place seems to have gone seriously downhill the last few years. 1. No REAL plates, cups, or silverware 2. Meals purchased to eat in the restaurant are served in wasteful styrofoam containers- accompanied by plastic silverware. 3. The only beverages available come out of the refrigerator case. Even water must be purchased this way. 4. No waitstaff- you order at the counter. Food was average- prices the same as at a full service Mexican restaurant.

Hoping for the best after reading several good reviews but we were sadly disappointed. The chips were very thick, neither salsa had a good flavor, and the queso tasted like it was out of a can. Our main courses were no better. Tacos el Gordo is our go to in the Ephrata!

Really good authentic Mexican food in a no frills way. The enchiladas were terrific and the burrito was delicious. Served on take out style packages is the norm but it makes the leftovers easier to take along.
