It was very clean. The beer was really cold. Nice pool tables and air hockey. For bar food, it was tasty. Huge portions. We had a lot of fun. Greg waited on us. He was great and had a happy personality, which I appreciated after a long week. We will definitely go back!!!

I make it a point to go here every time I am in town because they have the chicken tenders I love, the flat ones I don’t know how else to describe them… seems to not be a thing anywhere down south… don’t ever change your chicken tenders! Their other food is good too I’ve had wings, mini tacos, pizza, and burgers. Oh also they have pizza logs! ( Another thing I can only find in Erie) can’t wait to be there in a month, definitely going to hit up this place.

Good wings and beer. Small tvs but always on sports.
We came for wings, but they were $17.99/dozen. Settled for a burger ($12.99) and lasagna soup. Burger was a frozen patty which caused the bun and all the toppings to be soggy. The lasagna soup tasted exactly like Chef Boyardee. Nothing was fresh made. Save your money and skip this restaurant.

Wanted boneless wings because my son has autism and can't eat the bone in. The waitress brought out bone in wings. Apologized and said it was her fault but wasn't willing to do anything about it. I was willing to compromise and take them anyway, just asked to be charged the boneless price. She said no. I said talk to your manager. Not sure if she did or not but came back and still said no. So I said let me talk to your manager. She said he's not here. So she called him, probably for the 1st time and problem resolved. I used to waitress, I know when mistakes are made they are taken care of. She did not want to take care of it and got very angry and rude. I asked her why she was so mad. It's not like it's coming out of her pocket. She never brought us a pizza box to take our pizza home so I picked up the pan and started to walk out. That reminded her. Snapped at me that I still needed to pay my bill. I said I left it on the table and I shouldn't have even left you a tip. 1st and last time I'll ever go there. The manager needs to train his staff better. You don't treat customers that way. Sad.

Food good. Club sandwich is big and packed with meat. We had a problem with 1 order and the server corrected it immediately.

Surprisingly great food and good times at Black Jax. I like a good chicken quesadilla, but hesitate to order them as many places put together a sparse and lackluster offering. Not Black Jax! Enjoyed maybe the best chicken quesadilla ever, loaded with veggies and cheese and other goodies (the “supreme" version I think they call it). My two buddies gave thumbs up to their fish fry and chicken sandwich, too. Fun and sizable crowd on a Friday night, with karaoke that provided some comical entertainment LOL. Staffers kept their poise and good cheer throughout a busy night. Place has a nice ambiance (though lighting was too bright). Black Jax itself is a good reason to stay at the attached Comfort Inn, or (very) nearby Super 8 if you’re passing through, as we were on the last night of a 22-day motorcycle ride.
Bartender was so nice. It was Karoke night.
